Hotel's Favourite
On arrival Toni gives you a quick tour of the public rooms and then sits you down with his iPad to show you all the things contained on your personal iPad supplied for the duration of your stay. Included was information on the area, places to visit and discounts available from Cases Noves, and also suggestions from Toni and Sofi to assist with the enjoyment of your stay with walking packs or spa visits etc. The hotel has only 5 rooms and has a very friendly family feel to it, especially with the log burner in the lounge bar area. There is a TV lounge with a large selection of DVDs for your entertainment. There is a music room that has a good CD system and a huge selection of CDs that you can either play in situ or borrow to play on the CD player in your room. In this room is also a collection of games and pastimes for you to enjoy. There is a coffee lounge with complimentary tea/coffee pods/homemade pastries/cake produced by Sofi who also produces all the wonderful meals. The bar area has a large selection of drinks that are available for self service using the honesty system of completing a list of what you have taken. The room we had, El Castell, was a large room with a large double bed and a view of the castle. It was very comfortable and had a small couch, coffee table, TV with apple TV, CD player, and AC or heating and cooling. A kettle and pod coffee machine was provided with supplies of Tea, coffee and cream, supplies could be replenished from the coffee lounge downstairs. The en suite bathroom was large with a walk in shower. A hair dryer with diffuser and hair tongs were also provided with a separate fan heater if required. Included on the iPad was the booking of dinner, either a fixed price menu or a la carte with a good selection of wine. Each choice of dish was accompanied by a full description and photo. With your dinner booking was the chance to order the time you required breakfast, breakfast is included in the room rate. The breakfast was a delight and came in several sections. First was a fresh fruit plate with a selection of sliced fruits accompanied by a home made yoghurt. Next came a breakfast pastry and a homemade fruit juice/smoothie. Finally you received a plate of cheeses and chorizo/serrano and a hot plate of eggs and a meat dish with your choice of tea or coffee. The food for dinner and breakfast is changed every day and was made from fresh, good quality, local ingredients, some from as near as 50m away. All the food was lovingly and superbly prepared and presented. All in all a very memorable and enjoyable stay with Toni and Sofi, we hope to return soon, perhaps when the weather is warmer as ours was a winter visit.

Stayed here 1 night when visiting the area. First-rate small hotel, run efficiently by two great hosts. Nothing was too much trouble, everything is spotlessly clean, the breakfast is fantastic, the beds are so comfy, and parking is no problem. Book direct with them for the best rates. Highly recommended.
