Food was good - rooms comfortable - not sure why they have an outdoor shower as can barely use it! stayed one night when we first arrived. The jungle walk was very small took us 20 minutes and didn't really see anything except leeches! Nice enough place to be near orang-utan and sun bear sanctuary.

We spent two nights here whilst touring Borneo after reading the great reviews and the proximity to the nature reserves. The staff were attentive, had great sense of humours and were very informative. The chalet we stayed in was very well done with lots of natural touches including an open air shower with views of the jungle. The food was brilliant with plenty of variety. The absolute highlight was seeing a wild orangutan swing through the trees outside our balcony!! Definitely book here you won’t regret it!

Spent several days here, seeing both the orangutans and sun bears in addition to a day trip on the river. The bungalow here are adequate in keeping out the abundant mosquitoes. The staff was very friendly.

The place is beautiful and restaurant staff very friendly and welcoming. The family cottage was beautiful but a bit musty. Overall we had a great stay, nearby the orang Oetang rehabilitation center and all Sepilok attractions.

We spent 2 weeks based here, leaving occasionally for tours overnight. Nice, clean wooden chalets with balconies. Friendly, helpful service and nice standard of local cuisine. Plenty of birds to be seen and photographed on the grounds of the property. Walking distance to the Orang Utan & Sun Bear sanctuaries. The staff easily arranged tours for us to Labuk bay, the Kinabatangan River, Pulau Selingaan Island and night walks at the nearby Rainforest Discovery Center.

Cute bungalows in the forest. Ours had a double bed, nice bathroom with an indoor and outdoor showers, and a very nice porch area. The room was clean as was the rest of the property. The food was buffet style, as most lodges are, and offered vegetarian fares. It is a very peaceful, quiet lodge. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

We have just returned after a great few days at Sepilok Forest Edge Resort. The hotel staff were super attentive from the moment we arrived to when we were picked up. Breakfast was good. Not huge amounts but certainly enough for a full day out. And you could choose how you would like your eggs cooked. The evening meals were also very good. We did find food and drinks expensive whilst visiting this area of Borneo, but nevertheless it was all very tasty and cocktails were well made too. We visited the pool to cool down on both days and although it was small it was all we needed. ( we also have a two year old son so it was perfect height for him ) The hotel is a walk away from the sanctuary so convenient if you wanted to visit during both morning and afternoon feeding times.

We enjoyed our stay here. It's within walking distance of the Sun Bear and Orangutan sanctuaries which makes getting around easy. The food is excellent and there are plenty of options for picky eaters. The staff was lovely and helpful.
