Good accommodation location, very close to all the sanctuaries (orangutan, sun bear)
We stayed in the private double room and it had a big shower and air conditioning and a ceiling fan. The food was also decent although a little expensive!!

The location of the property is just a walking distance (1.2 km) from the famous Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre.

The room we got (they're named as Orang Utan!!) was very spacious and worth the cost we paid. The sachet coffee with a filter was very new for me and loved it.

WiFi works great across the property area. It's easy to get a GRAB taxi if you want to go to the city or airport.

Overall, a nice experience. Make sure to use mosquito repellent whenever you go out of your room. :)

Most importantly, the hotel offer free beer tokens if you give them a good review. The hotel is ok, but after staying here I am sceptical whether some of the reviews are legitimate. Be mindful of that before booking!

Great location to get to the Rainforest Discovery Centre - walking distance. Nice grounds. Room a good size with a huge bathroom / shower - shower very good but solar powered so be prepared for a potential cold shower. Air conditioning and fan work well.

You cannot get a drink of any description unless the restaurant is open. It's only open for 2/3 hour time slots for breakfast/lunch/dinner. The restaurant doesn't open for dinner until 7pm which is a little too late in my opinion. Means you can't get a drink at all between 2 and 7pm, with very little else around the hotel. The bed is very uncomfortable and the pillows are genuinely rock hard. They're meant to be memory foam, they're not. We slept without a pillow and had a very bad night's sleep. The WiFi does not reach some of the rooms which are far away from the reception area. Walls are pretty thin so noise travels between each room. Also has a bit of a weird smell in the bathroom.

serene atmosphere with an eversmiling staff that is not shy of helping out even at odd times. the dorms are clean and the beds are out of heavy wood without squeeking or wobbling. bathroom and shower/toilet units are well maintained and the overall design with big leafy foliage in open view spaces is pleasent.

This is my opinion it's the best lodge in Sepilok. The lodge has a new extension called the Orang Utan and Gajah wing. Great comfy lodge at Sepilok, this is the only lodge I will stay. Good service, delicious food at its restaurant, and friendly staff. The room comes with 2 bottles of filtered water daily. The bed is firm and comfy and has daily housekeeping. WiFi is stable and good too. Had the best shower experience at nature lodges in Sabah so far. This is my "Hilton" in Sepilok. :)

Thank you very much for your positive feed back. Those two are our new wings, we constructed them during Covid shut down. It was rather challenging for us and we are glad we made it and around to welcome you. Do have a safe travel and take care.

A cosy place to stay which is within walking distance to the Sunbear & Orangutang sanctuaries + the rainforest discovery centre (a must see attraction if you’re a birder like me). The room was clean, comfortable and had air conditioning. We enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel restaurant which was well priced and served tasty food.

Great room with aircon, came with water, coffee, tea and kettle. The shower was amazing. It’s a very spacious shower that goes really hot and has great water pressure. Also, body wash is provided. Great little outside area too with chairs..

Very nice and spacious room with spacious bathroom. Clean and very friendly staff who are happy to help you. You can refill your water, they offer laundry service (per kilo) and can arrange a shuttle service to the bus spot. The only thing missing is a swimming pool. But all in all a comfortable stay!

Thank you Chrissele for helping to answer the question. Should we have room available, we will let you in early to rest. Meanwhile you are welcome to leave your belongings at the reception area while you explore the surrounding sites. If you have the app of Grab car, a ride from airport will cost RM25. Otherwise, yes, taxi will be RM40.
