Where to start; the location between wine yards, the nicely decorated room with comfortable bed, great breakfast with too much choice, the friendly staff or the restaurant. All was more than perfect! Reasons enough to come back.

A beautiful hotel with Spa facilities and superb food. Staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. Try the tea rooms in the village or walk up through the vineyards for peace and quiet. The views are breathtaking.

Like we say in Italian, I could write "Un Romanzo" (a novel) about the things I liked...for they are infinite. Durbach is adorable as a city in a magnificent region and the hotel is wonderful: a mix of history with super modern interior decoration, a perfect match and done with great style & taste. The hotel's facility offers lots of...

This hotel is really just ok. The rooms are clean and bright, but very simple and not luxurious. The bathroom is tiny (only 1 person can fit), and the towels are generic hotel towels (thin and small). We stayed here for 1 night, mainly for the spa and wellness. One night in the hotel is sufficient, and good for business...

I stopped over here for two nights while touring Europe with Porsche Club GB. Having driven from Scotland I was looking for proper relaxation and luxury and that's exactly what I got. A fabulous find, great food and outstanding service . An extremely well run top quality hotel . Will be back .

For a long weekend away this hotel was great. It has a nice atmosphere and the staff are extremely helpful for big or little things. Around the area are lots of vineyards, which are nice to go for a long walk in, for example, up to the castle. The wine in this region is also a nice thing to sample...

A family owned and well managed hotel at the edge of the Black Forest, inviting for a romantic weekend with an award winning restaurant on property, well designed (Black Forest style) rooms and a view to nature. Very good breakfast and perfect to start excursions into the Black Forest.

Just a one night stand travelling through this picturesque village and not having had the opportunity to dine at their gourmet restaurant, we felt everything was efficiently and well taken care of. The sumptuous breakfast was indeed one of the best we ever enjoyed in a hotel and based on this experience alone we will definitely have dinner next time...

Bottom Line: Rooms are on the small side, but very stylish and well-maintained. Really wonderful staff and dining options. Definitely worth staying. Rooms: Definitely on the small side, but still very comfortable. Decor is modern and rooms are well maintained. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was the drawback. Definitely small and lacking counter space, but definitely workable. I would stay...

The team at Ritter Durbach made us feel very spoilt. The service is great, the spa is cosy and the breakfast choice overwhelming. The hotel is located in several buildings which makes the layout a bit confusing. The rooms are on the small side but new and well decorated. Only we felt that the food didn't meet our expectations based...
