Room Nose: Hints of antiques curtains, damp linen, soiled carpets & Mouldy cheese, together produce an unforgettable fusion wishing you brought a peg for ones challenged nostrils. But wait there's more, if your lucky enough to arrive on bin night (Mon) your greeted to an overwhelming stench at the residence entrance by an riot of overfilled wheelie bins before a...

Dear 7BFW, I would like to personally apologise for the poor experience. I noticed the bins were not cleared out by the contractor the first morning and immediately was on the phone to them to try and sort it out. Unfortunately it took a whole day for them to return and remove the bins. While I completely accept this is...

This guest house was excellent value. Don't be put off by not having en suite bathrooms the communal loos and showers are modern, clean and I never had to wait to use either. Room was clean, well equipped with tea and coffee and air conditioning and TV. Breakfast was 15 Aus $ and good selection of food. Lovely garden too....

My granddaughter and I shared a twin room for 3 nights. Comfy beds, tv, aircon and fan, kettle, safe, fridge. Perfectly adequate. Good location in Kirribilli - close to ferry, an easy walk to the railway station, quiet suburban street. The breakfast set us up for the day, but watch out for sausage-stealing kookaburras if you eat breakfast in the...

We booked this lodge via hostel world and just wanted a double room whilst we were travelling. We were pleasantly surprised when we saw the lodge and the rooms! The photos don't do it justice really. Although basic, they were very comfortable with a TV, mini fridge etc! Good location, an east 10 min walk to a train station. Good...

Dear Watto4538, Thank you for your fantastic 5 star review. I'm glad that you enjoyed the breakfast and our friendly drop in Kookaburra's and Rosellas (or maybe Lorikeets?) However I am glad that you are a return guest and look forward to you coming back to visit us again soon Sincerely JC Branch

As always the main attraction for me was the fact that Glenferrie has a few dog friendly rooms. It was a nice surprise though to find such reasonably priced decent accommodation so close to the ferries to Sydney. Kirribilli high street very close and chock full of cafes and bars and the area itself is safe, upmarket and very grand....

Dear Ozfran, Thank you for your great comments. Yes we love our pet guests and do have a few rooms which are pet friendly. Our breakfast is justifiably famous and while not really designed for lunch I don't think that's the worst problem in the world. I'm also pleased that you found the bed comfy and clean and look forward...

After booking a balcony room I was looking forward to a quiet and relaxing stay at a hotel that was usually a pleasure to visit. Dear jrybak2016, I am sorry that your most recent stay was not the best and I'd like to comment on a couple of things. Firstly a hotel keeping your credit card details on file is actually illegal as it puts your credit card details in danger of hacking and we would rather ensure the security of our guests and do...

We had a celebratory dinner in Manly and decided to stay over in Kirribilli after post dinner drinks at Circular Quay. We were allocated a double no bath. The room was quite small but modern and had a pleasant view of the rear garden. Air Conditioned, TV. Great bed so comfy. The bathroom was just across the hall which had...
