A retired business friend stayed here many times over the years and always spoke very highly of the experience. So my wife and I stayed there in April and thoroughly enjoyed it all. Great location, wonderful and helpful staff and the amazing breakfast makes a...More
Although the single room was small, the bed was comfortable and there was air conditioning, which was appreciated since there was a heatwave. The breakfasts are good but the coffee leaves much to be desired.

This was my second stay at Glenferrie Lodge. We had a two person room with shared bathroom. During my first stay we had a lovely room in the main building, upstairs with easy access to the shared bathroom.

Shared bathroom with other guests. Meaning it is not in your room and you must enter a communal area. You have private stalls and shower heads. I too was anxious about it but it ended up not being as scary as you think because the staff keep it very clean. Just be sure to bring flip-flops/tongs and plan to avoid the rush if there are a lot of guests.
The room I had on the higher floor had air conditioning in the room that you can control. Was really effective. Which is what you will need at that time of year, HOT! Not sure about the plugs but you can easily buy adapters.
