Visited today after a beautiful walk through Malham. Such a disappointing end to the day coming here. The service was very poor, the waitresses did not seem to know what they were doing at all. Ordered the Cheese and Chutney sandwich, only for it to come with no chutney. I brought this to the waitresses attention only to be told...

The meal was tasty, but I was not happy about the pie being a bowl of stew with a fluffy pastry lid. In addition to that; the barman's attitude was quite childish. Pathetic attempt at a pie. I feel so silly because the barman said my opinion of a pie, (meat in a pastry case) is uncommon. After that; we...

A wonderful pub/hotel in an amazing location. Can not fault Karen and the team of friendly staff who will try to make you as comfortable as possible. We were in room 8 which is still to be refurbished but still of a good standard if not small. we were then asked if we would like to move into room 8...

We had a most enjoyable Easter Monday lunch. The Village of Malham was very busy but we were lucky enough to get a table for six at about 1 pm. The four adults all had fish and chips which was very good. If I had one minor crib from me was that the batter was a little too thick, but...

We recently spent one night here while walking part of the Pennine Way. This hotel is comfortable with good quality beds and generous provision of bathroom toiletries and tea making facilities. The (inclusive) breakfast the next day was particularly appreciated with special mention due to the black pudding! Malham is a charming village and this was a great place on...

This was a great stay which we thoroughly enjoyed. We had room 2 (twin) not yet refurbished. And room 3 (double) refurbished. Both were comfortable and quiet. Staff were welcoming. Evening meal was good- hot and fresh. Not all items were available, and 'specials' did not change whilst we were there. Breakfast was excellent, although available only between 8:30 and...

Had a lovely evening meal in the bar and breakfast the next morning was delicious - would recommend the chocolate dipping dessert!! A very relaxing stay and we will definitely return to the Buck...

Long awaited return to trip to Malham with my wonderful sister. Weather wasn't great but more than made up for by the warm welcome from Karen and the team at The Buck. Back to the old days in terms of great service, food and beer and can't wait to return.
