This is an extremely well-appointed dog & people-friendly hotel. The beds were better than our own at home and muddy boots and dogs are welcome, though all amenities were spotless. The breakfast was fantastic, enough to set you up until dinner time, especially the delicious porridge. This is our second trip and we will definitely be back.

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

Our family (6 of us) stayed here for the New Year weekend and we weren't disappointed. We took our 2 dogs and were made very welcome by the helpful and friendly staff. This hotel is totally dog friendly, We've never stayed any where that welcomes dogs as much. The old, cosy building is full of character and quite quirky in...

It's OK. Felt the room was small and cramped for £100 but was soon moved to another. Which was nice. One or two areas needed a good clean as dust wasnt just light it was thick. Thought the dog friendly was nice, but it was rammed with them had to step over them at breakfast and dining room smelled doggy....

Very relaxing place to stay. Staff are friendly but not intrusive at all. They positively encourage dogs to the extent they are allowed in the dining room which may not be to none doggy peoples tastes. Beds comfy. Modern room with lovely shower but the actual building is very old and full of character. Fresh milk for making your Yorkshire...

Just arrived home after 2 nights away at this amazing hotel. Were a couple with 2 spaniels and although we take them away a lot we have never stayed in a hotel. All i can say is the hotel is luxurious and at first we felt guilty taking 2 dogs into the fabulous room...the hotel staff reassured us that this...

We've just enjoyed a wonderful weekend at Beck Hall; idyllic setting, comfortable rooms and truly dog-friendly - unlimited treats for your four-legged pal - furnishings and floorings designed so you don't worry too much about muddy paws (or the odd accident!), and really welcoming front of house staff. Food was delicious, Honesty bar in front of the open fire a...

Malham is beautiful and a great starting point if you love the outdoors. Even if you are not so energetic it is a lovely place to stay. We stayed at Beck Hall (myself and my partner who has some disabilities) along with our 2 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. The only access is via the clapper bridge but we managed just...

Beck Hall was really lovely as a base to explore the local attractions. We arrived just after dark (stayed in January) and couldn't be more pleasantly surprised by the location by a picturesque river-you access the hotel via a small bridge which is illuminated by fairy lights, really unusual. Reception staff were very welcoming and the room, although quite compact,...

When we arrived at Beck Hall it was dark, so the fairy lights were on on the bridge over the stream and the tree - a nice touch. We stayed for two nights and throughout the stay the staff were wonderful; very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is quite eccentric in it's furnishings, but it suits the nature of...
