We have now been to the Highcliffe Hotel twice for Sunday lunch. The food was excellent. and the service was extremely friendly and efficient. Considering that Tracey and Lynn only took over in July, they have done an excellent job and we are confident that it will go from strength to strength. Anyone in the area should try and visit...

we live 5 mins away from the Highcliffe and last night tried out the restaurant. menu was rather limited but it is out of season and can quite understand that. we both had steak and they were excellent quality and cooked to perfection.we were made very welcome and the service was spot on. we will return :)

Just returned from a Sunday lunch at the Highcliffe. Food was excellent. The best spiced apple crumble I've had in a long time. The refurbishment is coming on a treat and we were made to feel very welcome. Well done to the new owners and their staff 😀

We knew from reviews that Tracey and the team had only taken it over in July, so we were not sure what to expect. We stayed 3 nights and we were made to feel very welcome - nothing was too much trouble. It was nicely comfortable and they are working steadily at the decor and refurbishing. The restaurant is now...

Stayed here for one Sunday night last month while on a motorcycle trip. It was pretty quiet the night I was there. The new owners had only taken over a few days before and have great plans for the hotel. It is a great building in a great location that seems to have been starved of money by the previous...

We stayed at the highcliffe hotel just last night. When we arrived we were greeted by a lovely lady who showed us to our room. The room was welcoming and comfortable. The beds in particular were very comfy and we had a lovely night sleep. I ordered steak and chips from their restaurant which tasted lovely and the steak was...

The highcliffe hotel has recently come under new management (6 weeks ago, according to the owner). Who has plans to bring the hotel into the 21st century, and it needs it. The decor needs updating. Beds where clean and the food was amazing. The hotel is in a great location, beautiful village. I look forward to going back to see...

Stayed here for 2 nights over the weekend of 13/14 August. We were told that the Hotel was under new owners who had only been there for the months, the previous owner had been there for 27 years and it was obvious he'd done nothing in the way of maintenance for a very long time, however, the new owners are...

We stayed for one night - our first walking the Ceredigion coastal path. The new owners were extremely helpful and pleasant and although the place needs a serious makeover it did not detract from our stay. Breakfast was excellent and the only place on our itinerary to serve black pudding, which was good. We wish the owners the very best...
