I have never felt so unwelcome at a B&B in all my life. I booked to stay for 5 nights at this B&B. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I was unable to check in before 22:00, so I called at 21:00 to say I would be arriving after midnight. The proprietor, Andrew, sounded annoyed and I explained that I...

We needed a place to stay from which it was easy to get into Edinburgh for the Fringe Festival. This guest house was just five minutes walk from the train station with very regular trains into the city.We were made to feel very welcome by the owners and the room had a drinks tray and comfortable beds. The en-suite was...

Clean well appointed room, shared bathroom facilities is a rarity these days but was no problem. Very good value and the location only 20 minutes from the airport for an early morning flight, recommended.

Excellent location, close to train station to Edinburgh. Owner was friendly enough, we left super early 1st morning, told owner and were given tasty sandwiches all ready made for us to pickup. Breakfast on second day was nice. Massive spider in the room though! It was fine for either Edinburgh trip or Gleneagles, cost a fraction of other hotels and...

Stayed here prior to morning flight. GH well located for this as it is 5 mins walk from Inverkeithing station from where the 747 bus leaves for the 20 min trip to the airport. I found a spotlessly clean room with a nice firm bed & a well appointed en-suite bathroom with a very powerful shower. On check-in I was...

We booked a family room and a second room for my-inlaws. We had a very pleasant experience. The B&B s in a residential area but within a couple of minutes walking distance of the main railway station so ideal for those looking to commute into Edinburgh without the hassle of renting a car or expensive parking. Room was large, they...

After locating the premises (A satnav is essential) we were made most welcome by Andrew and his wife. We were then showed to a very comfortable and roomy accommodation in the dorma part of the bungalow. Andrew was also very helpful in giving us assistance in travelling to and from Edinburgh (we had tickets for the Tattoo) to save taking...
