We visited here for an evening reception for a wedding. Place is gorgeous very grand. But not so inviting.. toilets are far from the venue/room which couldn't hold all the guests (there is an overflow room) it doesn't capture the music or any ambiance of the main room for guests. The bar is an absolute joke it's smaller than my...

This was an amazing place to stay. The castle and grounds are beautiful. The service was great. We ate in The Dungeon and it was delicious. Our room was themed in thistles and the bathroom had every modern convenience. The next morning, breakfast in The Orangery was also very nice. This location also has falconry (owls too), many hiking trails,...

Dalhousie Castle is a great venue for a wedding – my wife and I were married there, but this was the first time we had been back for more than twenty years. It’s been refurbished since then, but otherwise not much has changed - the castle chapel and Dungeon Restaurant were as we remembered it, but a large conservatory-style bistro...

Me and my husband stayed for one night as a wedding gift. Driving into the grounds and seeing the castle is very impressive however once inside it feels like a basic hotel. We stayed in room 23 at the top but the window was tiny which is such a disappointment as from what I could see it would be a...

We visited our first haunted castle, and we weren't dissapointed, the castle was very grand, refurbished to the highest standard, the grounds also, lots of history we were told and lots of ghostly stories, very friendly and food was amazing in the dungeon restaurant? Very eerie. We loved every minute from start to finish.

I stayed at the castle rocks Suite for three nights. The room is not in the castle but a few minutes walk to an outer building. The room was absolutely great, very spacious and had a superb bathroom but the heating had been turned up so high it was like a sauna! The receptionist said that we could park our...

I started about a week ago to make reservations at the castle with a spa treatment, restaurant dinner at the dungeon and a falconry experience. I think they call it the royal experience, BUT you cannot book online so I telephone at 5 times over the past week and left messages BUT NO return phone calls acknowledging my request. Finally...

I treated my parents to what I expected to be a lovely stay at a high standard of establishment at Dalhousie castle. I was slightly concerned when after leaving two messages on the answer phone after numerous calls that weren't answered to ask for a call back regarding my booking and two unanswered emails I actually wondered if Dalhousie castle...

We were given a night's stay at Dalhousie Castle as a Christmas present - we both agreed it was one of the best presents we've ever had! There were a couple of downsides: 1 - The spa was on the small side - we were told that the castle was fully booked but for a good hour we were the...
