We spent an afternoon and overnight here. Staff were all helpful and friendly without being intrusive. Lovely site. Worth a walk up to the church and manor ruins. Restaurant very good too. Planning to return in the autumn or winter when I imagine it will be lovely and cosy.

The hotel is situated in a quiet village, quite remote from other amenities, on foot at least. The hotel is very pretty, well maintained and spread along the picturesque River Windrush, with extensive grounds and meadows to walk in. We were quickly and efficiently booked into the one of the hilltop rooms, furthest from the Swan and Old Mill bar,...

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel last weekend to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. We were upgraded on arrival to a stunning suite overlooking the river in the 'Mill' part of the hotel which was absolutely gorgeous - with the windows open we could hear the river flowing. When we arrived, my husband and I both had a...

What a treat to find this delightful hotel and restaurant with such great offers (cream team, spa vouchers and dinner voucher). We upgraded to a special room which gave us more space and a private patio complete with wood burner and marshmallows to toast. The reception staff were very welcoming and all the staff we met during our stay were...

Dear lovedrama Thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely review, so glad you enjoyed your stay & tried the new menu - some great options on there. The character and charm most certainly won't be lost with the new owners taking over and we look forward to welcoming you back for more marshmallow toasting and walks...

I cannot begin to explain how terrible his was: cutlery cheap, our table too close to another couple when the restaurant was less than half full, seeds left in the watermelon (there was only one cube on the whole plate), pork you couldn't cut through, 10 minutes to receive mustard, appealing dance music played st one stage - how they...

My partner and I along with our dog stayed at the Old Swan Minster Mill for two nights in July 2016. This was the second time staying at the hotel, the first time was around 3 years ago. I would definitely like to go back there again. The room we stayed in was spacious and clean. The food was delicious....

As a hotel, this place looks very nice. I had some family staying and met them in the beer garden, where afternoon tea was on offer. Orders were taken at the bar and I ordered: 4 tea and scones. 2 still apple juices, one orange and a Diet Coke. We were told there was nothing else on offer, ie cakes...

Dear David P Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We value your comments and feedback however I must say that we usually find our cream tea very popular and the prices similar in the area - we don't have a large selection of biscuits and cakes as we are not a café and most guests come...

The hotel was fantastic. Service from front desk to waiter/waitress was at a very high level and everyone was very accommodating. Especially Louise who was a massive help in organising some stuff before hand is preparation for a proposal and even managed to get up a complimentary upgraded room. The hotel and rooms were clean and food in restaurant was...

We visited here last Friday evening on a beautiful sunny day. We hadn't booked but decided to walk in a get a table. We booked a package through secret escapes which was a good deal. The hotel is a historic inn located in a beautiful countryside village. It is really wonderful there and the grounds are beautiful.
