Extremely friendly and welcoming hotel. We didn't have an evening meal but the menu looked very good. Our room overlooked the loch and Shehallion. Would mention that the the paint around the windows could do with upgrading

There was a traditional Scottish feel to this hotel. Plenty tartans and paintings of highland characters and scenery. The hotel is in a beautiful setting and the views from the executive rooms are splendid (worth the extra). The area has lots of interesting and fun places to visit. Bungee jumping, castles, luxurious shopping remote rail station fishing golfing or just...

We spent 2 nights here with friends for a stunning autumn break. The hotel has a typically Scottish Lodge feel to it with prints of highland cattle, stags & lochs all over the place, but gets away with it because of it's location! The food was delicious & the staff friendly & helpful. We made use of the pool, steam...

The hotel itself we liked it very good, also the restaurant and the breakfast were very good. Very successful was the appearance of the Scottish musician Andrew Gordon. Not pleased we were with our room. . Room # 14 is very close to the stairwell and it has a great view outside the window - directly on the back of...
