Just back from a weekend stay at this lovely hotel with a family group celebrating a special birthday. The service, food, wine, staff, rooms and views were all outstanding! The evening meal was particularly wonderful with a creative and delicious changing menu each day. And we immediately felt welcomed and at home in the hotel by the staff. Couldn't recommend...

For the fourth time we stayed at this very special place which is hosted by equally special people. Our friends from London enjoyed the experience as much as we have done on each visit. All the accolades are well and truly deserved. Scott and Steph are a warm, talented, energetic, inspirational, unassuming couple, incredibly generous, not only with all that...

Our second trip to the Moor of Rannoch Hotel. We were blessed with lovely sunny weather, the views from the dining room are truly distracting. This is a very comfortable relaxed hotel, the service from Scott and Steph is very professional and thoughtful. The menu is consistently inventive and Steph is a very talented cook. Scott is knowledgeable about the...

Could not fault this hotel. Met at the station and taken personally to the hotel. Lovely bedroom. Food and wine absolutely delicious. The restaurant overlooks the moor and such a lovely bonus to eat our dinner watching deer and pheasants and no traffic idyllic. Will definitely return.

Our third visit to see these wonderful hosts, we could not have been looked after better, the food is certainly 5 star and Scotts knowledge of the Railways and Whisky cannot be rival-ed. If you need somewhere to relax and unwind, walk and see the wonderful wildlife then there is no better place. We travelled by car but many arrive...

If you are planning a trip in this area then this definitely the place to go . The journey there in itself has amazing views then just continues like that once you arrive - the hotel has been beautifully refurnished . The meal includes entrees , then 2 or 3 courses coffee, cheese and biscuits and petit fours all home...

Our second visit and another wonderful experience. We traveled both ways on the sleeper train, which is all part of the fun, and after breakfast took the train to Mallaig and back. The following day we caught the train one stop up the line to Corrour and hiked back to Rannoch through a beautiful winter wonderland of snow covered hills....

Travelled there by car (as there are engineering works on the train line between Glasgow and Crianlarich) arrived to a warm welcome, there's an immediate relaxed atmosphere, sinking into comfy sofas in cosy, comfortable lounges... not to mention the huge variety of whiskies and gins... Nothing was too much to ask as we enjoyed a lovely lunch before setting off...

From reading the reviews on the Moor of Rannoch it seemed impossible that this hotel could live up to its reputation. From the first point of contact though, Scott and Steph were the perfect hosts. Meeting us from the Station late into the evening and walking the short walk to the hotel, showing us to our room and inviting us...

We had planned to be up in the area for a few days and, due to the school holidays, had an extra night to fill. After pondering various options we recalled this place which had been recommended to us by a good friend. It's a bit of a trek, eventually down a dead-end road but that just adds to the...
