Visited the Castle for an overnight break. On arrival we were offered tea/coffee and scones which were delicious - we had them in front of the log fire. Our rooms had fourposter beds and had lovely traditional furnishings. The bathroom was dated with the shower being a bit under pressure but it was clean with lovely towels and Clarins Body... More

The castle is situated next to a river with beautiful scenery, an old world charm feeling and a great breakfast and dinner. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfy robes and slippers. Perfect place for a weekend get away to the country.

We spent one night here in October and loved it. The location is fantastic if, like us, you want to be somewhere in stunning scenery away from it all. The staff were all extremely pleasant and friendly. It sounds like a cliche but we really did feel welcome. The room we stayed in was very comfortable with a slightly faded... More

We lived in Scotland all of 2015, and have experienced numerous castle hotels in every region. Dalmunzie is special because of it's location. We had wanted a luxury steading in the Cairngorms, and were truly blessed to find such a beautiful wild place. We hill walked, and were happy to find that this hotel was an historic hunting lodge. The... More

I took my wife to Dalmunzie Castle for her birthday last week and we both loved every minute. The room was HUGE with free champagne and amazing views over the hills with the stags roaring in the distance. We had cocktails by the fire then a quite brilliant dinner with three excellent courses and a good wine list. I will... More

Visited at the weekend. Stunning location, wonderful hotel with character and charm. The opposite of city glam. Thanks to the kind and helpful front of house staff. We hope we can visit again very soon.
