We had a week in Split but then we decided to take two night in Hvar. There was not so many hotels left in September. Arkada was not a luxury hotel but we were not just going to lay in the hotel. Price was ok. Ok. a hotel would need renewaling, a lot!, carpenters and painters and... And the breakfest...

Me and my boyfriend came here whilst traveling Europe as a break week. We read the reviews but thought it couldn't possibly that bad but it really was!! The hotel was really dirty - the pool, rooms, gym, restaurant! The bar staff were so rude and didn't speak a word of English- nobody in the hotel did. If you wanted...

Sadly the hotel company owning this hotel has not had the funds to update, its location is beyond stunning, the staff really helpful, but hotel is looking tired and rooms are a little worn. It has a lovely outdoor and even indoor pool both sea water. There is the possibility this winter 2016 hotel will be sold, so keep an...

beautifull nature, beaches, pleasent people...cheap..rooms definitly need decorating- walls, floors, ceiling horific. Rooms don't have air conditioning, but our room was facing forest and was very pleasant and not to hot to sleep in. Wide range of breakfast and dinner buffet, but big minus is artificial milk for berakfast. people, prices, beaches and nature are plus definitly.

I visited back in 2002, and it was a very nice hotel back then. I remeber rooms being very nice, food amazingly delicious and pool amazing...I rarely went to the sea because I enjoyed the pool still. But, I guess nothing changed since then. Nothing's updated. Now it's crazy to think of staying in a hotel without AC or WiFi...It...

This is by far the worst hotel I have ever been in and it's wasn't that cheap!! It was probably a fantastic hotel in the 60s or 70s but literally not one cent has been spent since then. The only plug socket is in the bathroom. A double room consists of two hard wooden beds shoved together! It's actually resembles...

We booked into Hotel Arkada via Booking.com for less than £20 per nite. It's obvious that the Hotel was the place to come for package holidays in it's Heyday. Now, its of an era (late 80s) but for the price we paid, which included a continental breakfast we were very happy. There is a lovely swimming pool, with acces to...

Small rooms, no aircondition, and if you can handle that it is also dirty and that is worst thing that can be for any hotel. Just avoid it. Only reason that I stayed there is that they had avilable rooms and that was hard to find if you come to island Hvar in the high season and you had no...
