We stopped here on are way to Catania and were pleasantly surprised by the incredible beauty of the Castel Di Tusa area. The Agrotourismo was beautifully rustic, very clean, with an absolutely gorgeous view of the ocean and the surrounding valleys. It was very easy to find. The staff, Rosa and her mother, were extremely accommodating in every way. We hope to return very soon.

Great place to stay! Just take the exit "Tusa" from the highway, turn in the direction opposite of Tusa on a very small road which brings you to Poggio Aureo, located halfway a mountain. Even it is so close to the highway, you don't hear anything of it. We arrived around 14.00h and one of the first things the owner (speaking italian, french and english) asked was if we were hungry. The lunch was just perfect: Sicilian food, freshly made with a great taste and enough to skip dinner. The rooms are clean and have everything you need. The view from the place is amazing: mountains on one side, the sea on the other (inclusive a thunderstorm...). We unfortunately booked for one night only, so we didn't have time to try the swimmingpool or the playground which are great for kids. Next time we will stay longer for sure!…
