We stayed here for two nights. Ariana really is the most welcoming, friendly and warm host. And she also gives the best advices for the activities around Jezersko. The apartment was really nice, with everything you need.

We stayed here for 2 nights to do some hiking in the area.
From the moment we arrived it felt like being welcomed in to the owner's home. We even got a song!
Our room was for 2, and although not that big, was comfortable, and still included basic kitchen facilities.
Breakfast was continental, with a local theme, plus eggs, and all perfectly nice.
It was only a short walk to the pizzeria, and about 15 minutes across the path through the meadow to a restaurant by a lake. Both worth visiting.

We stayed 2 nights here on our recent Slovenia walking tour. Ariana welcomed us as if we were family guests and was a mine of useful information about our entire trip.
Breakfasts were lovely and plentiful and Ariana also provided us with beautifully tasty and good value packed lunch for our second days walk.
A lovely, easy going accommodation for walking in the area.

We stayed here for two nights as part of a walking tour of Slovenia. Firstly, I love Jezersko. The people in this small village are some of the friendliest I've ever met. As an example we were walking along a path and a farmer mowing his field stopped the tractor ran across to say hello, asked where we were from and had a chat. This is typical of Jezersko. Everywhere we went people stopped and said hello.
The Homestay Kocka was similarly wonderful. This is a family run house with just a few rooms and you are treated as one of the family while there. When we arrived Arriana gave us schnapps and biscuits and had a chat about the area and what might interest us. She recommended places to eat and generally made sure that we were comfortable. We stayed in the apartment that has a private lounge and kitchen. The place is spotless and has everything that you will need. The breakfasts provided are comprehensive and tasty. Kya, (Arriana's daughter) kindly drove us to our next hotel.
So in summary; GO to Jezersko! It is a small village that has the charm and civility of another time. When you do go to Jezersko then stay at the Homestay Kocka!!
Many thanks to Antonia, Arriana and Kya for a wonderful stay!!

I stayed in an apartment in Hisa Kocka during a walking holiday in Slovenia. We had the warmest welcome from Ariana and her mum Antonia who sang us a traditional Slovenian folk song, they are both excellent singers. Ariana speaks very good English and was so helpful explaining things about Slovenia and what to do in the local area. We were made to feel very at home. The apartments are really well kitted out with kitchenettes and although our bed was a sofa bed it had a foam topper and was very comfortable (I'm very fussy and it was great!). It was also spotlessly clean. There are beautiful walks to do from the apartments and a couple of places to eat within walking distance. I would really recommend this place for the hospitality

We stayed here for only two days. The Lady of the house makes you feel special and welcome. She does this with a passion and you can feel it. So to make a long story short, if you are looking for a place to stay Kocka is defenitely a place to consider.

Although the accommodation is somewhat basic, this was more than made up for by the lovely location and superb hosting. Ariana and her mother, Antonia, gave us a very warm greeting. Ariana was excellent in providing information and advice - she really went the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast was excellent - I only wish that I had asked her for her granola recipe!

As we were preparing to visit Jezersko, we were hesitant because of limited information. Turns out our worries were uncalled for. Our host, Ariana, and her parents were more than welcoming and helpful. Ariana also shared plenty of information about Slovenia and Jezersko. We even managed to pick up some Slovenian communicating with Ariana’s parents and the locals there! A homestay where one feels right at home and learns about their hosts is a rarity these days. We hope more people can experience Homestay Kocka and its scenic surroundings!

A lovely apartment stay in the Slovenian mountains, the apartment was very clean, beds comfortable and kitchen has enough to cook with . Great mountain walks , there is a bus which allows you to visit other places but having a car for sightseeing is easier. A basic mountain stay at a great price . The Family who run the apartment are very friendly and make you feel welcome .

A lovely village with great walking paths up to the border with Austria. Good after dinner walks along the river. A very friendly welcome and nice breakfasts. Recommended for a peaceful visit. A family business.
