From the moment we set foot onto the premises of El Molino Santisteban we felt at home. This rural bead and breakfast is located in a stunning part of Andalusia where the sweat smell of orange blossom tickles your senses. It is a perfect place to stay for those who seek a quiet retreat, yet wish to explore the highlights...

Still basking in the afterglow of spending a few nights at this wonderful establishment. This is a great place with comfortable rooms in beautiful surroundings away from the hustle and bustle of the beaches. It's greatest asset though is the owning couple who go out of their way to make their guests really relax and do what they are suppose...

Thanks to the very warm and friendly hosts, Gerard and Madeline, we felt immediately at home at the Molino. There is definitely a positive energy all around this place. Could it also be the constant waterstreams which kept the Molino milling in the old days? Beautiful surroundings, lots of sightseeing in the nearby area (great shopping in Malaga!).But in the...

El Molino is paradise! The garden with mature trees is wonderful to read a book, have lunch or a drink. The pool area is great for a beautiful sun tan and the kids to enjoy. The river flowing next to the house added an extra adventurous playground for the children to play. The house itself is nice and cool and...

Our second visit and again a warm welcome and a great experience, with excellent food (early dinner for children), drinks (including a wide variety of cava, wine and other local drinks) and hospitality. During our stay, Gerard and Madeline took good care of us and even provided our children with toys and barbies of their own children to play with....

We stayed for four nights, with our 2 children, age 7 and 9. Madeline, Gerard and their two children Folkert and Clementine are very hosiptable. Their hotel is beautifully located at the slopes of à river, where you can see plenty of frogs, turttles and small watersnakes. The rooms are very nicely decorated, great beds and spacious bathrooms. Every morning...

El Molino Santisteban is only 45 minutes from Malaga Airport and 25 minutes from the beaches of Marbella in the province of Andalucia.

El Molino Santisteban is built in Andalucian style around a central courtyard with waterways and a fountain. All six spacious rooms have their own bathroom and wonderful views of the countryside.

In the lush gardens there are many shady and sunny places to sit and a swimming pool to cool down in. At the background one can always hear the streaming water from El Rio Grande and the watermill. Along El Rio Grande and in the hills around there are numerous possibilities for walks, to enjoy the many bird species or encounter a tortoise.

The self-service bar is always open and there is a fully equipped guest kitchen that can be used at all times. In the evening we serve a three-course dinner, outside on one of the terraces or in the dining hall of our watermill. With El Molino Santisteban as a base there are numerous cultural, sports and other activities to be enjoyed such as a visit to the cities of Ronda or Granada, playing golf on one of the many courses on the Costa del Sol or walks and horse riding in the direct vicinity.
