We saw this property from the road while scouting for a hotel for 4 nights. It is about 6 kilometres short of Kasauli town in Garkhal. But if you have your own transport I HIGHLY recommend this place. It has a great ambience, clean, well appointed rooms with a great view good aesthetics and well trained and polite staff. The breakfast and dinner buffets are extensive and tasty. The best part of our stay was undoubtedly Amit, the proprietor/manager who took personal interest in everything from checking us in to being present during meals to ensure that all guests were looked after. Look forward to coming back again.

My sister and myself had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Beautiful views of the vastness of nature from the room, curteous, helpful and smiling staff, homestyle food, and excellent personal touch by Mr. Amit... all added to our heartfelt stay at Kasauli.

A two hour drive from Chandigarh to the picturesque town, Kasauli is a must visit for everyone who loves mountains, birds, and peace. The forest Ville Resort in Kasauli, is indeed a must-visit destination for those who appreciate mountains, birds, and tranquility. It offers a refreshing escape from the bustling city life. What i love the most about this resort is the simple, home like food, the music and the space it provides you to be you. Sitting in the balcony for hours, i enjoyed the breathtaking views of the Himalayan range and the surrounding lush green valleys. The resort is serene and it makes it an ideal retreat for nature lovers and those seeking solace. Go visit now..

The resort is neat and clean, with spacious rooms adjoining a balcony infront of reserve forest of pine trees, you may not find a single building or house from rooms balcony instead you can visualise a vast green forrest which is very mesmerising . This resort is a ideal place for birding, we have seen atleast 30 types of birds from the resort itself namely khalij pheasant, Himalayan bulbul, slaty headed parakeet, spoted dove, blue whishling thrush,hill swallow, chestnut bellied nuthath, russet sparrow, jungle fowl, grey capped wood pecker, grey bush chat,scarlet minivet etc etc. Thank you very much Mr Amit for your kind and warm hospitality. Highly recommended this place for birding. We visit again and again for birding.

I like the way hotel is constructed. While many hotels have parking on road level, this property has parking down in much more safer environment. The room was very good, everything functional. Bathrooms were clean and no issues with the fittings. The food was decent, we had dinner and breakfast at the hotel. The indoor area was absolutely clean and maintained well, although outer area beside the dining area would need constant cleaning. The staff was very good and served us with great hospitality. Special thanks for Amit Chawla, he is always ready to help the guest, makes sure everything is in place. It's very rare to see a hotel staff constantly looking for improving guest experience at the property. I would like to visit again if I travel to Kasauli.

Had an exceptionally comfortable stay at Forest Ville resort, Kasauli with my family. Warm reception, delicious buffet, beautiful decor and awesome views from the rooms, we could not have asked for more.We had a short trip of one day and hope we had more time to spend there. I had travelled to Kasauli along with my daughter and her best friend. The experience at Forest Ville was amazing, I felt very safe and secure. The food and all the other services were top notch. I especially loved the complimentary breakfast, balcony view and evening pakodas. The owner of the resort made sure that all our needs were met in time. My daughter wasnt well due to weather change, and the owner made sure she was provided with the required medications and food support. I would recommend Forest Ville as the first choice to everyone who is visiting Kasauli.
