I stayed along with my wife for 2 nights in the Luxury Room. It was an excellent stay with lovely and cooperative staff members, spacious, neat and clean rooms with old charm and modern amenities. Special thanks to Mr Devender and Mr Santram. The location of the hotel is the BEST in Kasauli, close to every possible tourist point I own a travel company and have much experience in accommodation selection. I am proud of this choice I made to stay at Alasia.

I stayed in this hotel for third time. The biggest advantage of this hotel is that it’s situated right on the mall riad. You can walk anytime to the Mall Road and enjoy. Most of the other hotels are situated far away. Rooms are very big. Neat and clean. Great views from rooms. Overall excellent

Stayed for a night in March 2022 . Kasauli being a small place not many hotels along the mall road . Bigger resorts are little far off . So alasia was the only option . It's a small hotel . The rooms were okay typical hill station types .though we're clean . The hotel staff is very laid back. They just want to wind their work early and leave. Restaurant staff is very similar they keep pushing you to eat fast and leave . ( atleast that happened for dinner ) . Any thing you would order the typical response would be it takes lot of time . Food quality was also very average considering the over priced menu . The owners should take some interest in their property as it has an excellent location . Till it improves I think it's skippable . Stay at the resorts and come to kasuali mall or the bazaar as it is called during the day .

Excellent Freshly cooked Food, with local flavor. Outstanding service and good location. We all enjoyed the food and the view from the hotel. The desserts were served hot and were of extremely good taste and the Gulab Jamuns were to die for.

This is the place to have a delicious meal in a clean and spacious environment. The furniture is simple and so is the decor which is simple too. Visited for lunch when the cafe was not very busy. The menu is exhaustive. Food is freshly prepared and so takes some time. Had Indian food which was prepared fresh and was delicious: included tomato soup, boneless chicken and dal maharani. Very few restaurants where one can get tava chapati. Food was priced moderately. Card machine took pretty long to accept payment.

We were a group of 16 and we had a wonderful stay. Spacious rooms and extremely cooperative staff. The food was amazing and one of the few hotels that serve delicious continental food. Shepherd's pie is a must try. Will definitely stay here again

Simply superb location with nice hospitality and very good taste of food and nice staff. Once u are ok with pricing of rooms which is generally high in Kasauli, u will not be disappointed. Very big size room(suit) rarely found in hotels, it was a very pleasing experience. Exceptional thing was distance to Mall market which was at a walking distance. A bit costlier but recommended for everyone.

In my previous visit we were happy but this time we had a horrendous and a very unpleasant experience. We spoke to a uncivilised person who either was or claimed to be the manager Sanjay Kumar who probably does not understand the concept of hospitality ... must avoid property ... people like Sanjay Kumar are true examples who show how an amazing property can be turned from best to the worst ....

The hotel is close to the city centre and walking distance to both the lower and upper mall road. This is an old colonial property . We had booked the Executive Suite on the first floor. The room was cold and dated. Though a heater is provided in the bedroom, it is wrongly fixed on the wall making it impossible to use when sleeping. The sitting room has no heating, only a fire place which they would not start saying that they had no firewood. Bathrooms are modern. Linen and sheets seem old. We had to get all the sheets and towels changed when we checked in. There is no view from the room. Food though good was highly overpriced. The staff on the other hand was friendly and helpful. Being an old property, there are no lifts to the first floor.

Alasia is an old property renovated to a certain extent. Right in the center of the Kasauli. It has that old charm but if you are looking for modern facilities it's not the place for you. Staff is courteous. Food is okay although bit expensive. We had two deluxe rooms despite number of complaints the TV's in both rooms could not be made functional.
