Unprofessional & Fraud - did not honor the booking - did not get any room after full advance payment
We had a booking for 2 rooms for 2 families. We reached hotel around 1:30pm. Children were hungry and we were looking for some rest after a long drive from Gurgaon. To our utter surprise, the hotel staff was extremely rude and did not acknowledge our booking. We have booked through makemytrip. I was surprised as the whole amount was paid in advance and we had a valid confirmation. A junior staff was answering all our questions. Manager was sitting inside and was not ready to come out. He was instructing the junior staff to answer us. Later we understood that owners of the hotel and their friends had come in the long weekend for vacation. They instructed the manager and hotel staff to not to cooperate and ignore guests like us. They were putting the blame on ADB rooms, who is like an aggregator of different hotel rooms. We called ADB rooms manager, did not get any help. Then we called makemytrip and they did rescue us. It was a long weekend and getting a room was difficult and they managed to get one for us. I sincerely thank Makemytrip for that. I have never experienced such arrogant, fraudulent and insensitive hotelier in my life before. They even did not allow women to use toilet inside, instead showed us drivers’ toilet which was unusable. It was during April 2019, Good Friday Long weekend.…
