Kasauli Hostel is a unit of Hotel Kasauli Regency which was converted into a dorm in 2021. Being the only hostel in Kasauli, it is one of the only places to meet backpackers, travellers, artists and like-minded people. For now, there are 4 beds and 1 dormitory with 1 shared bathroom and a common area. 'Hangout Rooftop Bar & Lounge' which is the most popular, happening, lively and fun place in Kasauli is situated on the rooftop of this property. It is also the only Bar/Lounge in and around Kasauli which is open and provides food and services till late at night. There are many gatherings, jam sessions, exhibitions and weekly events that Hangout hosts. The weekly events include Techno Thursdays starting 4 p.m. with a few DJ's playing an exclusive selection of Techno/Deep House/ PsyTrance etc. Another weekly event is the Kasauli Open Mic every Sunday where many musicians, poets and comedians participated. It is truly one of the best days to be at Hangout.

Pathetic place to stay, extremely unhygienic. The lines were unwashed, had very visible stains, the staircase and common areas were shabby and smelled full of smoke. There were greasy marks on the table, chairs, TV never worked. Water was not provided. Would never recommend to anyone.

After some research found about this amazing hostel in Kasauli which was easily accessible and convenient...loved the vibe of this place and met some lovely people...the guests and the hosts specially were very cordial and welcoming....hangout which is their cafe and bar is just the best place to chill....they have very good music with techno parties on Thursday and live music on Sundays...would love to visit again 😇
