The Mogan Princess & Beach Club offers a lively atmosphere and stunning views that many guests appreciate, although opinions on location are divided due to its distance from attractions. While the hotel is commended for cleanliness and friendly service, some travelers criticize the additional costs and question the value for money.
The rooms, noted for their cleanliness and views, receive mixed reviews regarding dated decor and maintenance. Amenities like pools and food options are a hit, but concerns persist about WiFi connectivity and decor.

We stayed at the mogan princess January 11th. 18th weather was glorious we both had a good week dont believe all you read food was plentiful and was really good there was always something you liked
Drinks were available up until midnight. Plenty of sun loungers around the pool only negative point was it was cold in the pool even though it states it washeated did not feel like it. We went to the beach 3 times as the sun did not get around the hotel until later in the morning and took advantage of usinf the free coach back up to the hotel at 4.30
Was very good down the beach as you had the beach club which served you as much drink and food as you wanted the sangraia down at the beach club was lovely.i dont know why people here are moaning about the food being luke warm there is a microwave available if you want it
Evening entertainment was good we enjoyed it something different every night. Book a seat on the bus on a Friday for the market at mogan as the road is cut off the only other way there is a cab at 20 euros each way if you want to go fridays all other days is free. Now the negative points the lifts and the stairs what a pain we had to get 2 lifts and 3 lots of stairs to get to our room on the 4th floor and not being able to get out earlier in the evening to explore the area as there was not a lot in the area to do unless you wanted to pay for taxis to take you into surrounding areas if you find it hard to get around i would avoid this area as its not easy to get around. Next year we will go back to playa del ingles as there is more for us to do
Overall we had a great time room was clean and comfortable staff were very friendly and helpful dont listen to the negative views
Shame about the area really go there with a open mind

We started out this holiday with a sand storm and to be honest we were probably lucky to have been allowed to land as flights after us were stopped. There were forest fires reported in the news but they had zero impact on our holiday at all. After the initial sand impacted days the coronavirus on tenerife was reported. I know all this sounds very dramatic but honestly the hotel were brilliant. The cleaners worked so hard to keep on top of the sand which was not an easy task! The pool was cleaned quicker than any other hotel we saw which was no mean feat! I honestly cant rave enough about the food. There was always plenty to eat and this was my first holiday since cutting out meat and dairy. The restaurant is a very efficient system which is always fully stocked and has plenty of seating - you will never wait long! After the virus was in the news sanitiser dispensers popped up all over the hotel in the bars, restaurant, bathrooms etc - very well done! The bar on the beach was the best touch, sitting on the beach, wandering in for lunch and a cheeky G & T before heading back to sleep it iff in the sun. Honestly well worth the money for all inclusive. The friday market in Mogan was well worth the visit, its grown massively in the last few years! We also had a meal out in Mogan which was awesome and the taxi home was 20 Euro due to the road being closed for the past few years but worth it. We went through to Puerto Rico one day to visit the new shopping centre and found that the spar has a new vegan shop! You can get all kinds of milk, cheese and meat substitutes so great for anyone self catering. The only thing that let the hotel down was actually more to do with our neighbours who enjoyed moving furniture around and were very vocal!! We just turned the tv up lol!! I know people have complained about the lifts and it's not ideal for anyone with a mobility issue to be high up but the views are great if you are more mobile. We found the lifts reliable and never had to wait long.

Myself and my partner visited 2nd week of March, no complaints! Was a long bus journey from the airport(but shorter on the return due to less stops at hotels)
Lovely place, very very clean and nice, friendly staff will always help you out with any questions and with directing you with a smile to your table in the restaurant. Rooms were cleaned daily and towels changed too. Plenty of choice for food- restaurant and snack bars were available for food and drink covering almost all hours of the day! Loads of choice of food- always fruit and veg around too. Many options of fizzy drinks, juice and teas coffees etc
The room was almost on the top floor, taking 2 lifts and 1 set of stairs to get there so would recommend asking for a lower floor if you don’t want to go up many stairs or ramps, however the views were amazing of the sunrise and sunset over the sea
The main pool wasn’t cold and there were always sun loungers available, by the ‘infinity’ pool too and daily activities were run by the animation team too which were good fun eg. Archery, pool etc. Table tennis is free and pool tables takes €2 a game
Evening entertainment was mostly good with impressive acts and shows, many drinks available at the bar too during these shows.
Buses are available to get from the bottom of the hill ( a long trek back up however ) and are often and can get you anywhere for a reasonable price. Taxis were also parked here with a price board too.
The beach was lovely and had a choice of food and drink included in all inclusive from the beach club, however there are many people who don’t seem to wear there bikini tops! Pre warning!
Main island attractions are reachable on the bus if you don’t mind a journey eg. Water park/ Palmitos park being about 45 minutes to an hour away
Overall a really lovely place, great weather and perfect for our 9 days stay
Would recommend to families or couples

Stayed here for 7 nights JanFeb 2020 and was pleasantly suprised at just how nice this place is.
We arrived at 2.50pm and receptionist said just leave your cases here and go for dinner as it closes at 3pm , I thought that was really helpful.
We asked for a room next door to our friends but ended up with interconnecting rooms which to be honest are only really suitable if you're a family, was a bit noisy and could hear everything our friends were saying.
The rooms were spacious and very clean and the views absolutely stunning.
Free bus down to the beach which was good and top tip if you want to go to MOGAN market on a Friday, book your free place on the bus as soon as you arrive.
The food is brilliant for an all inclusive, my husband and I follow a ketogenic diet and plenty for us to choose from.
The pool areas nice, we preferred the beach as not one for noise and kids by the pool etc, €3.50 for a sunbed on the beach, you can also get food and drinks all inclusive on the beach.
The only negative I have to say is that the lady that served you on the beach bar wasnt very friendly, she was quite rude in fact. She would stand there texting on her phone even though she knew you were stood there waiting, I even made the effort to speak spanish with her, but still she was unfriendly. All the other staff were amazing.
The entertainment was quite good too.
I would definitely stay here again especially for some winter sun.

Good holiday, no real problems with hotel. There are stairs but not really an issue once you get used to the layout. Best selling point for the hotel is the amazing view and sunsets.
Location for a walk outside is limited as theres not much around Taurito. The 20 min walk downhill to beach ok, the free beach bar was not a big place but had drinks, sandwiches, pasta, salad. You have to pay for sunbeds at all beaches on the island this one at 3.50 euros each.
We hired a car for one day, but parking on the island is a bit of a nightmare including the hotel where we had to leave it at the bottom of the hill.
Food is ok, not very hot, but what all inclusive buffet style is? Themed food nights hit and miss.
The nightly entertainment was better than I expected.
Self service works well for beer, wine and cava and softies.
We took an extension cable as read there was not a lot of sockets, this was invaluable for phones and tablets.
Wifi in main areas works well for the majority of the time definitely nothing in the room.
No milk or water in fridge. Take your own bottle or container and fill up at meal times.
The heated pool still very cool, only a quick swim, but refreshing when weather was good.
We booked a free shower room for our last day as you have to pay for late check out. This is a half hour slot to freshen up for the flight.
Overall a good holiday for a bit of winter sun and price but not sure we would revisit.

We arrived here to find we would have to wait 3 hours untill our room was ready when they knew our arrival time and had other available rooms.
The location of our room was OK. We were in block 3 on floor 3.
The view from the room was simply stunning.
The room looked clean, but furniture was dated and not furnished as in any photos. We had 2 single beds pushed together but still left an 6 inch gap between beds, not a double as we were told.
Drinks served from anywhere but the pool bar tasted nasty. Not sure if it was down to the spirits or the mixers being used. Entertainment was quite good some nights.
My biggest issues were down to food, hygiene in restaurant and lack of restrictions and distancing with Covid.
All hot food was never hot, not even warm, just room temperature. Waiting staff remove dirty plates from tables, give tables a quick flick with a dry cloth and lay the table for the next people without any sanitation, gloves or hand washing. Even before covid I don't believe this is acceptable. NOWHERE in the hotel is social distancing encouraged, if anything the complete opposite. Guests are being squashed next to each other in the dining room even when there are 2 empty sections that they refuse to open. Around the buffet food, people are able to help themselves so everyone is touching the same instruments to pick up food, some even used hands to get bread rolls after rummaging through the bread basket. The beach bar is ok and offers a nice range of pre made sandwiches, salad bowls and fruit bowls.
The location of the hotel is not great as long steep walk down to the bottom but the shuttle bus service was excellent.
In my opinion there are much better hotels for a similar price.

Dear RachelAdam, Thank you for sharing your feedback on Tripadvisor. We are sorry to have disappointed you in some aspects, but thank you for highlightning the stunning views and shuttle bus service. I wish you had contacted us while at the hotel regarding the double bed, since this could have easily been solved by dressing the beds with a double topper. Regarding the buffet and anti covid measures, I assure you that the hotel complies with the official protocols, as the safety of our guests and employees is a priority for us. The buffet form is allowed with the use of virucide gel (provided by the hotel) and the regular change of tweezers. Moreover, the hotel signs on the floor and walls the measures of distance between people, but understand that it is everyone's responsibility to comply with the security measures. We are truly sorry to hear that the hotel did not live up to your expectations. Kind regards, Mogán Princess

+1
We had a fantastic time, what a beautiful hotel in such a scenic area. The hotel is nestled into the side of the mountains with stunning views of the sea and surrounding areas. Despite being uphill, there are plenty of lifts to use. The lifts do play up often but there are always others to use and get fixed swiftly by the hotel maintainance team. We arrived late and the management had been kind enough to save us each a cold meal in the restaurant before checking in to our rooms. We were 4 adults and 1 infant. We had two rooms next to each other. The rooms were cleaned every day and it was so nice to always come back to clean sheets (if you didn’t want this service you could put a do not disturb sign on the door). We went for the standard all inclusive which had more than enough drinks for us. It included 3 decent cocktails, all the local spirits, wine, sangria, soft drinks. Rooms had a mini fridge, had to buy own bottled water which was very cheap from the on site shop. There is water on tap with the all inclusive so you can just refill your bottles there. Food was lovely, always lots of choices. Breakfast was our favourite. The snack bar was great if you didn’t fancy getting dry from the pool to go eat. Pizza, burgers, hot dogs, salad, fries, pasta, fruit and ice cream. Pool bar was great too and pool side entertainment such as the water aerobics were great fun. People were reserving loungers from 8am which isn’t allowed but wasn’t always reinforced. I saw staff moving the towels on 2 occasions but sometimes people were ‘allowed’ to reserve them which was annoying. The adult pool had awesome views and was nice when you didn’t fancy being splashed by the kids, very tranquil up there and had a lifeguard there throughout. Entertainment in the show bar was great and a good variety, we especially enjoyed bingo, karaoke and the magic shows. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, always happy to help us book a taxi to explore different areas. We made use of the free shuttle bus down to the beach and water park and it was a great day out. The beach has water sports. The beach club was great as you can use your all inclusive for drinks and food when spending the day at the beach. We went to porto rico for a dolphin spotting boat trip it was amazing but we did get quite sea sick so avoid if you have a sensitive stomach. Highly recommend Angry Bird Land for people with children. Foam party, splash park, etc. Not expensive either. All in all a great time had by all and we will most definitely be back! Thank you to all staff

We've already booked to come back in Dec 2021 as we've loved this place. Food is amazing! Don't believe the other negative reviews, unless you are a very, very fussy eater. Lots of fresh fruit, vegetables and salad on offer every evening. Plenty of hot, cold meat & fish dishes on offer during the evening sitting. We didn't use the restaurant at lunchtime and chose to eat at the snack bar. Again, plenty to fill your tummy with. Burgers, hotdogs, pizza, chips, pasta, fresh fruit and endless ice cream. The breakfast offered is an absolute feast and we had our fill every mealtime. We have an autistic daughter who is extremely fussy and she ate well throughout our stay! So surely that says alot for their catering. The rooms, although a little dated, are exceptionally clean and serviced daily and clean bed linen every fourth day. Towels changed if left on the floor or if you want to reuse then put them over the hanging space in the bathroom. The staff are friendly and will.do everything to help you. Like every hotel there maybe the odd issue, mainly the beer running out or not working at the self help stations but there's ample in the way of soft drinks and spirits instead. The whole place is spotless and staff are constantly cleaning contact points and face masks are worn all the time. The scenery is breathtaking as the hotel is situated on a hill and overlooks the bay. Be advised if you have mobility issues you'll need a scooter as the hotel rooms are up quite high over the hill. There are lifts, but due to the heat they broke down on several occasions so the walk up the flights of stairs to our room was hard. You can ask for lower rooms if you do struggle with stairs etc. Overall fantastic stay and we can't wait to return. Give this place a try, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Just back from a weeks stay in the Mogan Princess what a wonderful location facing out to sea and along the coast. While some of the hotel is in need of a little tlc the place is absolutely spotless with the staff tirelessly sanitising every morning first thing right through the day. I cannot understand people's complaints these hotels have been under immense pressure to try and stay open through all the misery of Covid. I found the staff a pleasure under very busy circumstances. There is a snack bar by the pool Coco Loco and the La Choza restaurant opened until six with the main dining Princess opened until late there is plenty of choice for breakfast lunch and dinner you will always find something to eat again very hard to please everyone and if you want restaurant type food and service go to a reataurant and pay £60-£100 for food and wine and after dinner drinks. there is a beautiful veranda off the Princess lounge bar where you can watch the sun go down or in front of the sunset bar where there is loads of seating outside along with music every night there is a good selection of drinks included in all inclusive alcoholic and soft drinks coffee and water you can upgrade to a premium drinks package if you want. This hotel is great value for money and I enjoyed my stay 100%

Personally, I would ask for a top floor in the back block, to get as far away from the loud music as possible. All rooms have a Seaview though.
Hi, sorry I can’t help with your questions. I suppose if you’re not gluten intolerant you don’t look out for it.
