This is one of those times, looking at past reviews of this hotel, that it just isn't necessary to go on about the facilities or grounds ... the place is simply amazing. What is worth repeating is the fantastic service and pride that the staff, specifically Elena and Miguel, put forth at every opportunity. The fireplace was going in the...

We stayed here while walking the Camino. The room and bath we had were huge and filled with architectural and historic interest. The grounds are beautiful and invite you to sit outside with a glass of wine. The common rooms are extremely cozy and well decorated. Dinner that night was extraordinary - very delicious and breakfast the next morning was...

Built originally in 1742, a manor house that once boasted land, barns, its own chapel, workers quarters!!! In a very dilapidated state, it was bought and restored to this 4 star hotel. It's been beautifully restored & re-built, only takes 32 people, a first class meal and excellent service. Extraordinarily and brilliantly done.

This hotel is a little off the Camino but is a peaceful location for a quiet and comfortable treat. It is about 2km walk into town. This 300 year old restored farm house and out buildings was the highlight of our trip. This was a very neat and clean hotel. We encountered Sergio (bar tender and restaurant waiter) at check...

This was a very neat and clean hotel. More like a block of apartments than a hotel. The service was excellent. We sat outside and enjoyed reasonably priced generous sized cocktails before dinner. The service could not be faulted. The only negative comment I would make, and which seemed to be the general consensus among our group travelling, was that...

This restored farm house is truly the highlight of our trip. We took a taxi from Arzua. Jose, at the front desk was just a delight to deal with...then we encountered Sergio (bar tender and restaurant waiter) offering us some gin and tonic made with local Galicia gin...OMG just delicious! Dinner quality was perfect with a good choice of wines....

This hotel is a little out of the way but is a beautiful location for a quiet and comfortable stay on the Camino. It is only a small 1.5km walk into town, but hey after a lazy 20 that doesn't matter. As with other locations I only wish the other Pilgrims would sleep in. You don't need to start the...

Thank you Jared!, this recommendation is very useful for all pilgrims. We usually recommend to our customers: enjoy the charming places, relax and taste the fantastic breakfast... you have all the day to finish the stage, and the weather in this season is fresh, no hot, and the landscape is beautiful. Camino is not a race ;) Good recommendations Jared,...

I stayed here while walking the Camino de Santiago and the masseuse here is brilliant. He really knows the pilgrim's body. It was just bliss to arrive after a long walk be greeted by very friendly and helpful staff be personally shown to my delightful cottage, enjoy a shower and then straight to Damian the masseuse. I walked 30 km...

We arrived a Pazo Santa Maria after the most demanding leg of our "Camino": Palais del Rey-Arzua, 30 km with an average temperature of 36 degrees all day long (39 when we actually arrived in Arzua at 5:00pm!) and that was the perfect reward for our sore feet and overheated body. That day we transformed in "5-stars-pilgrims" without a hint...

This is a beautiful hotel with sweeping views. We had stopped there when we were walking the Camino de Santiago. It is a mile out of the way. I highly suggest taking a cab in if you have walked for a long time which was our case. We were exhausted but were greeted very nicely with a couple of guys...
