Cute boutique hotel centrally located, consisting of several small chalets with a green courtyard in the middle where you can have breakfast/dinner. The place is really tranquil like an oasis. The bathrooms were very nice! The staff were very friendly and helpful, arranging transport, boat rides and bikes for us. Would stay here again.
We will not forget the kind hospitality La Maison Birmane Boutique has shown us. From the warm welcome til our last breakfast, the service was impeccable and the stay was most memorable. The boutique hotel made us feel like we were staying in the most beautiful garden, surrounded by the sounds of nature and quiet. Will always come back to La Maison Birmane.
I have visit Inle lake for the first time this week on november. I am a korean. and I've been working 20 years as a hotelier. I had very few information about this area before I went on a trip. and I just selected La Maison hotel as it has good location. this hotel is very convenient to approach jetty for boat trip of Inle lake and there are many tourist attractions near by such as restaurant. pagoda, massage shop, bar. But there is another more important reason why you should stay at this hotel. I know a lot about the hotel's services because I have been working as a five-star hotelier for a long time. La Maison hotel is much more than I expected. Ms. EI EI and her team made my stay much more valuable and comfortable. They helped everything with a smile from beginning to end. I just regret not being able to stay longer. I can promise to stay at the La Maison Hotel next time if I travel here again, . The room is very well maintained and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic. Most important of all is their smiles and attitude to help. I've also stayed two other hotels during this trip. So I can say with more confidence that the La Maison Hotel is really great. I would like to say thank you to Ms. EI EI and her team at La Maison Hotel for their efforts for my new experience. So I leave this message as soon as I come back from my trip .…
This place is a true boutique hotel, where thought has been put into every small detail - from the tasteful room decoration, the indoor plants, the little balconies with flower arrangements to the always beautifully arranged food. The owner and staff are incredibly helpful and can arrange everything for you. We really enjoyed our stay here!
La Maison Birmane is an elegant and cozy hotel tucked in a perfectly well kept garden on a quiet street of Nyaung Shwe. The manager and the staff are wonderful, making everything possible to make your stay a pleasant one. The food is delicious and very well presented. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The attention to detail is noticeable everywhere. This is most definitely an enchanting place to stay!
I love everything of this hotel. The first impression was the smile of the staff. They welcomed and took care of us with a great attitude. The hotel brought me the feeling of tranquility and romantic. Breakfast was wonderful! Everything is very delicate and well-organized. Absolutely will recommend to all of my friends.
The hotel itself is limited but acceptable however the staff are very helpful. We had an early departure and they pulled out the stops to arrange an early breakfast. For us it would not be a stand out location to stay but maybe our stay at Inle Heritage Hotel had spoilt us.
This is such a peaceful hotel with great staff and management. They will take every effort to make your stay a never to forget experience. Nicely situated so a walk into town is easy and nice. We can highly recommend this hotel with its nice bungalow type of rooms. The breakfast is a nice start of every day of your stay and the late night drinks in the garden are a perfect closure of the day. Joost and Hetty
The smile with service is really pleasing when we are entering to this hotel. Before checking, explain and discuss what can we do and how is the perfect arrangement. Everyone wearing the smile and saying Mingalabar is coming in natural that we felt during our stay. The room is quite warm enough with the heater and the rest room with decent light is in good architecture way. The net will prepare on 6pm every evening. Only the water tank sound behind our room is strange. The breakfast will be in western way with all natural fruit and food. Less sugar is the great idea of Ma Ei Ei who is managing this hotel in lovely way. The pancake, egg and the coffee became our decent breakfast. We got a lot of chit chat with Ma Ei Ei and learning the way of living life. That memory will be with us even the trip was over. Now my friend are asking which hotel is it and they are interesting to go there as well. How about us? Ofcoz we are already fall in love with them.…
It was an absolute dream and the only thing I regret is not planning longer holiday at La Maison Birmane in Inle. This charming boutique hotel is located in a quite neighbourhood, yet everything else is so accessible (i,e market, jetty, restaurants). The staff are wonderful, and special thanks to Ma Ei Ei who's managing the whole team. I love the idea of how Burmese culture is being showcased and how environmentally friendly the hotel is (btw, I'm a native Burmese). I love the bathroom set-up, especially how the hand-soap is Shwe Wah (which is the soap we knew and grew up with) and how the cotton pads and q-tips are stored in a cute little box made of toddy palm tree leaves (if it isn't the Burmese way, I don't know what is!). Their shower gel and shampoo are in a ceramic container, the quality is luxurious. I absolutely love how the bungalow has everything we need. (we did not even notice there wasn't a TV in the room until the Hotel Manager mentioned it in one of our very friendly conversations, but hey who watches TV when you're on holiday?) All staff are wonderful! They are such a delight-- very friendly and helpful. (trust me, I've been biased because some of the hotels in Myanmar treat differently to foreign travellers than to the native-speaking travellers. But, nothing of the sort here at La Maison Birmane). I felt absolutely welcomed and they made us feel cared for. The cafe/restaurant area is cosy and romantic. I love having a drink when we come back from a tiresome day of sightseeing before heading to the bedroom. The only thing I wish they had was some local breakfast, but it did not quite matter, as we just went out to eat local food. I can testify coffee at breakfast though - it was nice! Kudos to the whole team at La Maison Birmane, I'm definitely coming back. (This hotel is for those who loves tranquility and romantic ambience. This hotel is not for you, if you are a city traveller who only like urban hotels)…
