So pretty, high quality hacienda, walking distance from one of the prettiest villages in Andalucia. Beautiful, spacious, warm junior suite room, very good quality in every aspect. Arabic bath and massage were nice after walking at the mountains. Breakfast was luxury, more than you can expect in that price. Dog friendly.

Hotel is run down and poor condition without much charm. For the money you can stay in a Parador and these are a world apart. The room was ok, but unclean. The amount of pubic hairs in my bathroom would suggest the cleaners were on strike. The food in there restaurant whilst tasty was to expensive. This is a place... More

This place is fine for a base to visit the area. Definitely not a four star hotel. Place is clean for the actual bathrooms, beds etc. but the corners of the walls are not touched and under the beds were dirty too. Beds are not too comfy either. The place could be amazing if they invested some money, that is... More

So technically this hotel is not in Zuheros but approx. 2km away but boy were we pleased we chose to stay here. Hacienda Minerva is on the Via Verde (the old olive train route now used for cycling & walking) and is a charming traditional rural hacienda. This 24 room retreat is full of patios, nooks & crannies where you... More

until you find another place to stay. Reasons: Overall, the grounds and rooms are not well maintained - most of the property is really run down and not very clean. Although we didn't use it, the pool and pool area did look nice. We had room #10 (which is by reception). It was big, with plenty of storage, but very... More

The hotel is located about halfway between Cordoba and Granada and makes a convenient place to stopover if you have the time. It's situated on the edge of a national park and offers great walking, cycling etc. It's evident that the hotel has been gradually run down over many years and is lacking investment and maintenance. With some serious money... More

We loooved our stay at Hacienda Minerva, in spite of the terrible terrible weather. Hacienda Minerva is located 45 minutes from Cordoba and and hours drive from Malaga, in beautiful Andalusian olive groves, next to a nature reserve. It’s a lovely place with charming patio’s and rooms scattered all around. There were many flowering plants all over, we felt like... More

We could only stay one night but left Minerva with a sense of a place that is charmingly rural, romantically Spanish and splendidly medieval. Oh, and in a quiet corner of the library we found a litter of kittens and a purring mum :-)

Stayed here with a biking group. Lovely setting, quite a climb to the city if on bike or foot. Breakfast was amazing, dinner very good. Nice sitting area with bar service. Attention to room cleanliness was not impressive - a bar of soap rested on the floor behind our bathroom door when we checked, and it sat there for the... More
