Excellent location with view of the promenade and beach activity. Our room was bright and open with excellent facilities. TV greeting showed the pool, looks good - but I missed it! Dinner menu very good and breakfast excellent. Staff first rate and very helpful. We will return for a longer stay if the possibility remains (very elderly coup!e). Wheel chair access and use ok.
We stayed for a short break at the hotel. directly at the beach, friendly staff, comfortable rooms, fine breakfast, good parking possibilities for the guests. So we missed nothing and can recommend this hotel.
Nice hotel. Functional room, clean and with basic amenities. I would definitely recommend upgrading to a room with a sea view, that's the best perks of the hotel. There is a fee to access the spa even for just a quick dip in the small pool. A bit sneaky. Don't pay for the breakfast it is not worth the 15e they are charging you. Just get a coffee and a baguette from the boulangerie, it will be nicer than any of those industrial bread and pastries they are serving you. Very gloomy.
The hotel is an ok place to stay. It attracts mainly elderly and the rooms are a bit outdated but all is ok, clean. Restaurant was good, location is great. In the hotel there is a spa area and a casino.
We stayed here for the Blokart European Championships 2019 so the location was perfect right opposite the beach. The room was very good and the buffet breakfast had lots of choice. We experienced a small problem with the open air car park getting in full and out vehicle was too high for the underground car park. One night when the hotel was very full we had no water.
Chosen because of right next to the beach. What a fine place to be, great staff, very clean, nice wellness, good food and great massages. All you could ask for however one minus, no sauna only a steam bad and if you really like to swim in the pool, well you can’t, too small. This hotel also host a casino and when arriving you get a 5€ voucher to spend there. We amused our self with those 5€ for at least 2 hours, was fun. Although this hotel has a 3 star it wouldn’t look bad as a 4 star. Go there!
Booked here for a few days. The rooms were noisy and restaurant staff very rude. We ended up walking out of the restaurant. Despite advising the hotel of the above. Nothing was done about it. As a result we just wanted to leave. More than happy to pay for the days that we were there but didn’t want to pay for the days that we weren’t going to stay there due to poor service. We were advised that the hotel can’t give a refund for the days we would not be here as we would have to go via booking.com and then we would receive one. Booking.com were great! They obtained a translator as the hotel speak little english. The hotel wouldn’t give booking.com confirmation. They then said that we were never told that we would get a refund. Despite 2 members of hotel staff advising of this. This resulted in the manager calling booking.com a liar and when I advised that we just wanted to leave and have a refund for the nights we are not there. I was advised that “we are not a bank” and that I “shouldn’t have booked the length of stay”. Hours of crying to the manager and a ruined holiday, we have ended up just leaving as we couldn’t stay there any longer. As a result, we are £300 down but the atmosphere is terrible since raising a complaint. Will never return - not worth the money No customer service - coffee machine in room (pods cost £5 each), location, drink selection. ️- staff, restaurant, spa, customer service, noisy rooms. Treated what we feel is totally unfair. Swimming pool 20£ pp per day. wish I had read the other Reviews…
,A very nice WE there with my wife. The hotel is ideally located in front of the beach. Rooms with sea view are large and very confortable. Despite its proximity with the Loire estuaire, the seaview is great. We really enjoyed our stay there. The hotel has an indoor pool, sauna and jacuzzi. The Spa services were good. You can enjoy a breakfast buffet with a sea view. The restaurant is good and affordable but not exceptional - maybe you don't want to buy your lunch in a packaged stay so you can enjoy the full menu instead of the half-board one. Finally our week-end was cheaper but still great than the nearby and well-know hotels. Definitively try unless you can afford the other palaces :)
Good hotel in fantastic location overlooking the beach. I stayed here for one night with my two year old and my husband and despite the fact that we were well accommodated, and I couldn't find fault with the hotel or its facilities, it is obvious that this is a business hotel. Our room was large and well equipped. Breakfast was delicious and the breakfast room had an incredible panoramic view of the beach. If you are travelling on business, alone or in a couple, this hotel might suit you but it is less suited to young families like ours. Decor is quite dated but facilities and staff are both great. I felt that the price of the room was a little high for one night but we did travel right at the end of the high season.
We stayed here for one night on our journey from Limoges to Le Havre with our dog. Booked it literally last minute after being let down by hotel we booked months ago. We were so glad that this happened as we were delighted with this hotel. The location was just ideal for us, as we had the beach opposite that we could take our dog on (after 6pm). But plenty of space for walking him when no beach access. We had a large, airy, very comfortable room with a balcony and sea view. There was a coffee machine and a kettle to make hot drinks. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we both slept like a log! Really enjoyed breakfast the next day, with good choice of hot and cold food, including, fruit, cereal, pastries, yogurts etc. Good choice of drinks as well, tea, coffee, fruit juice, hot chocolate. I only wish we had been able stay for a few more days!…
