We stayed for a week in Apartment 41. Very spacious and we loved Juliénas. Had dinner at the excellent restaurant. Our hosts Kesaram and Bertrand were delightful. The village is small, but has two boulangeries, a bistro (Le Coq), a restaurant (Chez la Rose), and a bar. In the middle of Beaujolais vineyards. We loved it!

Chez La Rose was one of the most delightful places we've ever stayed, and the restaurant was outstanding. In addition, Julienas is a charming village in a beautiful landscape of rolling hills and vineyards. Fantastic!

Unfortunately the restaurant is not available on Mondays and Tuesdays, so I cannot say anything about it, except that the menu seems authentic and original (I mean, more than the usual "charcuterie du pays") The hotel itself is very elegant, very clean, and totally social minded (a lot of games at our disposal in case of a rainy day, I...

Away from the autoroute, deep in Beaujolais country, surrounded by vineyards, a well established modernised Logis Hotel. Main building housing a really good restaurant and annex buildings a short stroll (50m) away, where we found spacious, spotlessly clean room, sitting room and bathroom in a boutique style. Room next door for three 19-22 year old girls was more than comfy...

Wonderful suite with all the amenities. The perfect place to rest well and explore the Beaujolais area. It has also one of the best restaurants in the area. Newly renovated, perfect cleaning. Recommended for couples, families, groups of friends. We will have to come back in summer time to enjoy the pool...

We stopped here because we thought it would be a good base for a visit to Beaujolais. We were not disappointed, in fact it was much better than we could have hoped for. Great rooms a superb restaurant and in the warmer weather an outdoor terrace and pool over looking the vineyards. The owners also run another more rustic restaurant...

A previous reviewer had commented on the unsmiling reception with no English offered-ours was exactly the opposite with the host Bertrand welcoming us with a big smile and helping us out in English in response to our poor French. Our luggage was quickly in our room and, as we had reserved secure parking, our car was tucked up for the...

We stayed in the annex just around the corner and were pleasantly surprised with the spacious interior, lounge, large bathroom and small garden. Dinner was very good, good service with a smile although a touch pricey.

....why don't the owners of some of these hotels understand that most people who arrive on their doorstep have travelled, usually quite a distance, and would like a friendly welcome? It's not difficult to say bonjour, how was your trip? Welcome to our hotel. We hope you like it here? We stayed here for three nights and it's perfect for...

This was just a one night stopover in the small town of Julienas on our trip from Paris into Italy, but was perfect in many respects. Our room was large, the bathtub was long enough for tall athletes and our bed had fantastic down comforters. The dinner on a beautiful outdoor patio consisted of pate, a fish dish of Fera,...
