I must admit me and my family all loved our stay at this hotel, the staff were helpful and polite, and they also speak English. The rooms were very sweet and clean. The breakfast was a buffet the earliest at 8am, with a variety of bread, yogurts, cheeses & ham, fresh eggs, cake and fresh daily paste for bread. We...

The Hotel Lampllehen, which for about a hundred years was a sheep farm, is a very cosy hotel/guesthouse owned and run by a lovely couple. The premises are very sweetly decorated with sheep everywhere. The place is also very close to the German Austrian border, such that in about 30 minutes one can be in Salzburg. The salt mines are...

We stopped here on our way back form the Eagles Nest. Our friends who we were travelling with stayed here 17 years ago. We just stopped in for dinner. From the moment we walked through the door we were treated like family. Lubomir the owner was friendly, warm, and so interesting to talk to. He couldn't have been more welcoming.The...

Great location near Berchtesgaden and Salzburg. It is tucked away from the road with nice size rooms that are neat and clean. Our rooms were both wood floors, but were comfortable and nice. The owners were very nice and the man spoke really good english and gave great tips for sightseeing in the area.

We visited this hotel/restaurant for ten days in May, 2015 and our express purpose was to hike. Much to our dismay it rained nine of those days which put a damper on our hiking. We hiked in the rain and Lubos, the owner of the hotel was wonderful in planning hikes for us on most days. The food and the...

We rarely get a chance to travel these days; careers are in different directions and our vacation times always conflict. Yet, finally getting a chance to explore Europe and find this wonderful little hotel was marvelous! From the moment we walked through the doors we were treated as friends: cared for no matter what the request, and welcomed. Due to...

The three of us stayed here for 3 nights and used it as a "base camp" for day trips to Salzburg, Konigssee and Hallstatt (salt mine in Austria). Lubomir was very helpful with directions and suggested routes for our day trips and, being a former chef, the dinners he created were fantastic! And a good price, too, for his guests....

We had a great time at the Lampllehen hotel as we stayed there for a week. The hotel is very well situated for the trips (Salzburg, Kehlstein/Eagle´s Nest, Königsee, Jenner, Almbachklamm and so on). The owners of the hotel are very nice people, very helpful and careful, and they will do everything they are able to do to let you...

Salt Mine, Kelhsteinhaus/Eagle's Nest, King's Lake, RossFelderStrasse Panoramic Road, Obersalzberg, Berchtesgaden or the National Park. The hotel provides guests with a physically confortable,...
