I was given a birthday present by my friend Abilz Letop a 1 night stay in Eagleye Cottage. The place is very nice and I can feel the nature vibes there.
The room is very comfortable and they has a very unique design which is more to english style.
The owner Miss Suzie were very friendly and given us a very special service and hospitality. We enjoy our bbq night during our stay there. This place deserve a 5 star rating. All the facilties provided are very good,

Best choice in Tanjung Rhu, Langkawi.

Set amidst nature, lots of greenery, clean air. The family owned @eagleyelangkawi ticked all boxes. Refill water station and a recycling point - one of the reasons we booked too. So good to see smaller resorts making the effort to be environmentally conscious. Bicycles and motorbikes for hire available. Beach within walking distance.

There are about 3 food spots within walking distance: Kelapa Cafe, Scarborough fish and chips, and a local malay restaurant (which was unfortunately closed as we went during the festive Aidiladha period)

Suzie was so helpful, thank you! ❤

Very friendly staff and helpful too. Good local food but if you want something different most grabs into tourist areas are around 20 myr. Plenty of cats to pat, sunsets on the beach are a bonus. We just ran a tab for five days which turned out to be good value for money, much better than we thought it would be.

Eagleye is like home when you are travelling! Everything was soooo nice! Location close to a nearly empty beach and restaurants, cottage was well equipped and nicely decorated, and Suzi and her staff made our stay a little piece of heaven! If we visit Langkawi again, we will come back!

2nd time to stay here. Great ambience with village setting. The beach nearby by walking distance and I'm loved the sunset view. Good location to relax and enjoy the nature.A bit remote, need to have transport car or motorcycle to go around the island. Nearby have a few local restaurant with a good price. For other activities you may refer to the staff, they friendly and able to speak in English.

The cottages itself were nice and awesome however there were many many many forest lizards that we were unaware of. Day in day out we were catching lizards or worrying about it so long as we were in the room. We saw 1 huge spider as the cooking utensils were unused for a long time. We had changed room to the villas master bedroom. The room was much better however on 1 occasion when we went back, there was 1 lizard peeking at us from the toilet dustbin and 1 cockroach on the toilet floor. God knows how they came in but i suspected through the window. Every night there was 1 lizard by the toilet window like regular customer(I know that it is getting heat of the raining season). What i really liked was the hospitality of Bala, the housekeeper. He walked me to the beach (just around the corner) to show me around the place and how close we are to thailand (the food is awesome like thailand) on the first day. Bala even gave me his number to call him when i needed him to kill the lizards. Especially on the first day i slept alone as my boyfriend had missed his flight. He came day and night no matter what time i called as he was juz sleeping at the reception area (he knew I was sooo afraid of creepy crawlies). I also loved the dog which Bala had let me played and walked with (forgot the name). If u wish to stay here, ensure that you really love greeneries and beaches and u are nt afraid of creepy crawlies as they visit u day and night. There is a bird cage at the reception where i heard snakes do come along and eat the birds (there was once a bird was eaten during my stay). All in all, Bala was the main reason we remember this place.

Some other travellers did reccomend us to stay once in beautiful Langkawi at Eagleye....so we did listen to their advice....and we have been so pleased and happy about the lovely...quite...clean...and comfortable Eagleye place that instead of 3 nights we extended to 9 nights!
It is literally 3 minutes away from a beautiful and not crowded beach, the all cottages area is surrounded by beautiful palm trees and there are such positive energies all around.

The staff is very friendly..professional and helpful.
They really and sincerely take care of their guest in everything...by the night we all have a great time chatting and having some drinks all together with the staff and others guest.

What an amazing time!
We are already planning to go back in December.

Definitely recommend for families, solo and friends travellers.!

A warm welcome at the idyllic and very hospitable "Homestay".
From the first greeting at the reception / bar / kitchen; "The Tamarind"
A wonderful spot and centre of life for Eaglestay, where lives cross and travel plans are changed (aptly under a
100+ year old tamarind tree).

All are made to feel welcome (my 3 year old was instantly at home). It also encourages all those staying to meet and share experiences (or not, up to you).

Accommodation ranges from simple, tropically boutique to WOW gorgeous - in a tropical, eco kinda way.

The hosts, Suzie, Jeff and their amazing team are there to advise you- "secret" beaches, scooter or car hire..... or to simpley enjoy a chat.

Definitely for 1 night to 1 week.

An idyllic setting to take a moment.
