This resort is best for all our 5 kids; ranging from 2 years old to 14 years old. It catered to family activities and customized to our our needs to have an awesome holiday for our small family of 14. From welcoming snacks for kiddos to splash pool in front of the villa to Lutong Kids Club, beach activities, mangrove excursion and another family pool for each family to enjoy personally, i believe Four Seasons Resort is the best in Langkawi! The resort is pleasurable for a walk or with a bike with loadsa trees and so many areas for OOTD! awesome all-rounder staff service and I'm glad i chose this resort over others. Thank you for the experience!
The Four Seasons Langkawi is hands down one of the most special hotels we’ve visited. The service is unrivalled. Each and every engagement with a member of the staff was delightful and they will go above and beyond to ensure you have the very best time at their resort. The ability to WhatsApp the concierge with quick questions and get the answer within minutes made sure we were nothing but relaxed for the duration of our stay. The adult pool was a haven, the rooms were stunning and the food was 10/10. We were given bicycles to make our way around the 48 acres of land the hotel has to offer. This gave you ample opportunity to enjoy the surroundings and the amazing wildlife that Malaysia is a home too. Though, what really made our trip so memorable was the staff we got to know during our stay. In particular Ilan, Mario, Ravi, Joanne, Yasrul, Fildza, Danial and Jerald. All of whom may a massive impression on me and my partner. If you’re travelling to Malaysia, this hotel is a MUST. …
Stayed April 2022, for 15 nights (4 in a partial seaview room and 11 in a deluxe beach villa). There are several luxury resorts on Langkawi but this is our favourite by some distance. There is so much space here, the resort strung out along a beautiful white sandy beach, merging into the lush geopark, and never feeling crowded. Essentially, whatever you're looking for in a luxury beach holiday you will find it here. If you're travelling as a couple, there is the serenity of the gorgeous adult quiet pool (my first morning floating in there had me reconsidering career plans - I'll keep working if it means I can come back again). If you're travelling with kids, the family pool is a lovely space, never crowded, whilst the Kids Club has a stimulating programme to keep everyone happy. Our little girl loved the batik painting, kite flying and even an Easter egg hunt. The flora and fauna are amazing. Just lie in your hammock and listen to the breeze in the palms, the waves lapping the shore or the variety of birdlife in the trees. Your main difficulty will be tearing yourself away from all this to go and see more of Langkawi. However, the hotel's trip into the mangroves of the geopark is essential. Our guide, Amy, was friendly and knowledgeable and we saw the incredible wildlife and landscapes of this beautiful island. The spa is wonderful and not to be missed. There are free bicycles to get around the huge estate and you can be as active or inactive as you want to be. The light and colours are incredible, especially around sunset when the beach, sea and sky just look like another world. No need for camera filters here. Above all, it's the staff who make this place such an incredible destination. Many have worked here since it opened 15 years ago and it shows. We can't remember everyone's names but every single employee we met was cheerful and attentive. In particular, Ravi and Saasya were always helpful and the managers Michael and Kanak looked after us really well. There are no bad rooms here. The pavilion rooms are huge, with their own outside space, and I'd suggest at least going for a partial sea-view. However, if you can stretch to a beach villa (even if only for part of your stay) they are on a whole different level, with generous space, beautiful designs and your own plunge pool. Finally, back in March 2020, our previous trip here was cut short by the onset of the global pandemic and we were among the last guests to leave in a hurry. We vowed to return at the first opportunity and were so glad we did. It was well worth the wait.…
I cannot express in words how amazing this vacation was. From the moment you enter the grounds, you are in for a treat. This stunning resort whisks you away to a Moroccan inspired oasis, and the beach offers breathtaking views and sunsets. It's a beautiful place to walk around, or take advantage of the bikes they give you and ride along the beach and around the resort. It seems the property has been recently renovated, every single detail considered. The staff should not be overlooked, as every single member you encounter during your stay will greet you with a smile and go out of their way to ensure you have a great stay. It really made our day whether they remembered our names, our food and drink orders, or even just greeted us. The Kids Club is top notch. This was a trip I took with my 7 year old daughter for a bonding experience, but we utilized the club because there were so many fun activities they offered! Some activities worked out well as I could be present but enjoying a little peace i.e. kite flying on the beach, sea shell collecting, etc. The Spa is gorgeous. They also had options for me AND my 7 year old to take advantage of, so we had a great Spa experience together as well. I had a massage while my daughter had a mini massage and facial which she loved. The lounge area is private beds floating over a fish pond which makes for an extremely relaxing place to sip on some tea. The beach as mentioned is beautiful. The sand is bright white and soft, the water is calm and clear, and in the morning there is plenty of sea life. There are many, many beach activities. We took advantage of the boat to visit the islands. It was just OK, sadly the mangroves boat ride was sold out, and the visit to the islands you cannot get out of the boat so it's not as exciting. I could go on and on, I highly recommend Four Seasons Langkawi for families. I can also imagine it is fantastic for couples, though of course there will be young children around.…
You cannot believe how amazing the service, staff and the property is here. Topped off with amazing food and activities for everyone. This was a truly wonderful stay and we can't wait to look for an excuse to return. Simply incredible.
