I arrived at Burg Schwarzenstein after a long international flight and was quite tired but started feeling better immediately on receiving the warm welcome at Burg. That speaks loud for the hospitality of the staff. Rooms are very tastefully done and in harmony. Property is equipped with all the contemporary requirements and maintained very well. Views over looking the wine-yards...

My husband and I spent 4 nights at this hotel and had a truly excellent stay. Upon check-in, our room (hotel side) was spacious, bright, clean and comfortable. I highly recommend spending a little more and selecting a room with a view of the vineyards. Pictures on the website felt accurate, but were in fact more impressive in person. In...

Burg Schwarzenstein must be the place to be … When I made a reservation, 11 months ahead of time, it was already mostly booked. Apparently, they have lots of weddings on week-ends. We had booked 2 standard rooms in the modern part of the hotel. This is what we got. Located among rolling hills covered with vineyards, it is lovely,...

We stayed here for six nights on a tour of the Rhine by car. We had a junior suite which had a gorgeous view of the vineyards and river. Our arrival was made special by the lovely people at the desk and later by finding beautiful fresh fruit and champagne waiting for us. Our room was very comfortable with cutting...

I know this place because of the grate restaurant and of the marriage from a friend. I stayed for two nights in the "old" part, the perfectly designed castle. It was so nice, but one thing I must say, the rooms in the old part don't have climate control and so it could be really hot in the summer time,...

My husband and I stayed for one night as part of a short weekend mini-break. The hotel and rooms are absolutely exquisite, very plush and comfortable, with beautiful decor and gorgeous views. The service was excellent - we had an impeccably presented, friendly and polite young man called Jasper help us throughout our stay - what a credit to your...
