We stayed @ Hotel Voorhuys in a superior room with connecting door. This was our second stay in this hotel. Both staff & owners are really keen on providing the best service, and screening things that need improvement. The room was quiet, clean, and interior was modern & up 2 date. The beds were comfortable as you'd expect in this accomodation. Public and free parking in front of the hotel was a bonus. Frontdesk really took it's time for the check-in and suggestions for any activities in the surrounding area. Unlike some other hotels children are paid as much attention too as adults. Breakfast wasn't the normal broad variety due 2 corona, and a second coffeemachine would help reduce standing in line. All in all a big fat 9 for Twan and his team.

Was warmly welcomed to the Voorhuys. Room was spacious and beds very comfy. The bar/restaurant attached to the hotel had a really nice busy and friendly atmosphere.
Breakfast was a fixed service at your table, so not as much choice as you would normally get (due to Corona).
Also a perfect location to explore the surroundings by bike or car.

:) My partner, his dad (both from Sweden) and I stayed 3 weeks in ‘t Voorhuys for work. The staff was very friendly and even in the difficult COVID times the restaurant had a nice menu. (Their tomato soup is fantastic!!)
The location was perfect and made the stay a lot more pleasant. The parking in front is very large and free, which was also great.
:( Unfortunately the COVID-19 safety measures were very disappointing. The receptionists often forgot to wear their masks, the kitchen staff did not wear masks at all (we could see this from the window of our room) and the cleaning staff also did not wear masks or gloves when entering each room.
The cleaning itself should also be improved, as there had been coffee stains on the stairs and railing for the entire 3 weeks that we were there. This shows that the cleaning was done very poorly. I had to specifically ask the cleaning ladies to vacuum under the beds, as they seemed not to do this regularly.
Twice when I was in my room, someone entered without knocking or asking. (first one of the cleaning ladies and the second time a maintenance guy.) This felt a bit inappropriate and should not happen. And non of them was wearing a mask or gloves.
Also, the shower had no partition to stop the water, which resulted in a complete wet floor after every shower.

I stayed here with my family for the tulip festival. We stayed three nights. From the booking to the stay to the food everything was handled with perfection by the staff.
We truly appreciated how the help us book the guide to see Tulips and farms. How they arrange for our rooms to be big enough for our family. Some of the food was fantastic, the kids loved the ice cream and the over all menu they have for them.
In all, this is a great place to stay at a great location with outstanding staff.

Excellent location in center town, yet quiet at night. Good amenities, excellent breakfast, very comfortable beds. Pleasant staff, very friendly and down to earth. Good kitchen. If pressed I would recommend to have the end-invoice a bit clearer in terms of dates that certain services were used and in general. Having said that: certainly a recommendation for visiting this interesting part of the Netherlands.

Nice hotel on a perfect location, close to the city centre, free parking, and the possibility to charge a car. Nice and friendly staff!
Because of Covid-19 they offer a take away breakfast, what is realy good.
Also the take away diner is perfect, they give a phonecall when it`s ready for pick up.

Very clean and cosy hotel. The employees are very kind and make you feel welcome. I can also recommend to have diner at the restaurant, delicious! Only in the weekend you could hear people chatting on the terrace. But with the Windows closed it's ok. Recommended !
