This is a fascinating place to stay. We only stayed one night. You can access the tower walkways and get spectacular views of the surrounding area. The rooms are large and the interior walls are still made of stone - no sheetrock or plaster covering...More

Alarcon is quite remote. Easiest way would be to hire a car in Madrid. You could train to one of the bigger nearby towns (say Cuenca), but then you'd still need to take a taxi to Alarcon, which would be expensive I would... More

Driving its easy to find either using a map, google maps or Sat Nav. Accurate on all, we found. Its well signposted. I don't know about public transport as it is very remote
