Strategic location with plenty of food court, banks, ATM, shopping mall. Nearby is a Korean Village and can offer Korean foods.
The room is clean, bit spacious. Offer basic rooms and well oriented to fit guests needs. Free wifi and the room has flat-screen TV, but very limited channels.

However, the management need to provide every rooms with safety lock for the room door, which i feel a neccessity. Maybe not friendly for guests who have limited in walking capacity, as the hotel has no lift to every floor.

Overall. i enjoyed my stay here and would come back again.

The spacious and big room. Only the tv sometimes not function well. All facilities is nearer one to another. Restaurants, banks, fast foods, bussiness. All you find it here. The staff is very helpful and they can recognize all the repeat guest easily. I am so satisfied with that. I will come back again and again.

Puteri Ampang hotel is located in Ampang area near Ampang Point mall, Puteri Ampang Specialist Hospital, and RM 1 bus ride from Gleneagles Hospital. To get to the hotel from Sentral Station, you need to take Kelana Jaya LRT line to Ampang Park and then a bus to Ampang Point Mall. Unless someone needs to visit PASH or Gleneagles Hospital, this hotel does not offer anything else.
The room is rather tiny with 2.5 x 3 meter with private bathroom. The sound insulator is not very good and you can hear someone opening or shutting their room doors nearby. TV is flat but does not work well with only 6 - 7 blurred channels. I did not even try to check if there is wifi in the room. The plumbing of washbasin needs serious attention.
The hotel does not have lift so guests have to take stairs to the 2nd floor reception and to the upper floor rooms. It is definitely not suitable for people with mobility problem.
The good thing about this hotel, it is nearby some inexpensive restaurants.

It wa ok when I checked in to the hotel at 8pm on 25 June 01. Room was ok except no toilet roll. I walked down the stairs to get toilet roll. Next morning, I went to office and left the room at 8am; I had made a requst to the reception to get the house keeping to look ino the toilet bowl as it was blocked. She told me ok. Guess what???? It is now 750pm I just came back from office followed by a nice dinner and thank god, I decided to flush the toilet before I use it. IT IS STILL BOCKED.
I called the eception again reported this and I got a nice reply, I will sent someone. I Asked : now? She replied : yes. Waited for all most 15min, I decided to walked down the stairs again and she told me, the plumber is not from here, he came from Cheras and will be here around 9pm+. I requested for another room, unfortunately the answer is : we are all fully booked. I am here waiting, without shower after a long day........I don't think I will back to here anymore.

Puteri Ampang hotel was in a convenient business location surrounded by Ampang Point shopping centre and plenty of local cafes and restaurants. Although the area itself could do with a bit of clean up, perhaps the addition of some rubbish bins would be a positive move, we found this little hotel quite adequate for our short three night stay. The room was small without a window very close to the reception area. Even the bed was small but nonetheless, it was clean and comfortable enough. There are 3 flights of stairs, with no elevator, to climb up and down, so we looked upon this positively as our daily exercise. The downside for us was there was no fridge in the room and no hot water! Staff we found were super friendly and eager to please. Downstairs there is a great restaurant with the best, freshly baked, naan bread you will ever taste, needless to say we ate there a lot. I would not recommend this hotel location for solo travellers, the area near the hotel is a bit dodgy looking at night.

A hotel situated in a shophouses buildings. Parking not free along the vacinity. No lifts. Have to walk up to 2 floor for 24 hours reception and another flight of stairs for accommodation. Fuhhhh.
Water a bit yellowish and smelly in our room. But that what you get for cheap lodging. TV remote unusable. Aircon is good.
Ampang Point Mall just opposite therefore traffic is hectic.

Stayed 2x nights in different rooms.
All have been said which did carry weight.
Decent place to stay but now seeing the wear & tear.

Pro
Great price for location.
Convenient car parking after 6pm.
Choose to park opposite at Palma Square.
Toiletries, coffee making, bottled water.

Con
Rooms smelled weird / bad / musky.
Ventilation system non-existent.
Water heater knobs faulty.
Bed runner cloth filthy.
Towels thin & worn out (brought own)
Hit by state wide water disruption.
Staircase access only.
Having a busy restaurant downstairs permeates many a smell.

#OYO must check on the standards constantly.
#Wish it is more than just a hype now.
#Would choose not to stay again.

This is a budget hotel, located above a 24 hour restaurant, close to a shopping mall and amenities, such as restaurants, banks, cafes, clinics, etc. Being close to Jalan Ampang, it is easy to go to Kuala Lumpur City Centre and the PETRONAS Twin Towers, by bus or taxi. My room was quite spacious and comfortable. There is no lift in this hotel. Travellers will have to lug their suitcases up to the lobby (first floor) and the rooms at the first floor and second floors.
