Having read the reviews of Bellbird Lodge we were expecting something special when we arrived for our 2 night stay. To say that our expectations were more than met is an understatement. Everything about Bellbird Lodge was superb. The accommodation was spacious, spotlessly clean and incredibly well appointed. The views from the property across the Tasman Bay towards Nelson were...

We have just stayed two nights at the Bellbird Lodge. Andrea and Brian are the most friendly and generous hosts and we felt like we were staying with friends. Andrea's breakfasts are delicious, I have so enjoyed her selection of fruits, yoghurts etc, will be hard to beat anywhere. We were also treated to afternoon tea and homemade cake followed...

We stayed 2 nights at Bellbird Lodge in complete comfort. With wonderful views and sumptuous breakfasts we can certainly recommend this luxury B&B without reservation. anthrax and Brian are great host, experts in the area, and nothing is too much trouble! There is the Abel Tasman Nat Park and restaurants and bars nearby. I cannot recommend highly enough!

Back in the Rosewood suite again for the third time. Friendly welcome again from Anthea and Brian - still keeping up their excellent standard of hospitality. The breakfasts were even better than we remembered! A lovely place to stay. Thank you both very much. P & T

We had a wonderful few days in the stunning Abel Tasman area, staying in Bellbird Lodge, Anthea and Brian’s lovely home. We had a beautifully furnished and very comfortable bedroom and ensuite, amazing breakfasts, tasty nibbles, pre-dinner drinks and gorgeous views out over the Marlborough Sound. Their kindness in washing and drying our travel clothes was a very thoughtful touch....

Anthea and Brian could not have made us more welcome. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean and the addition of a sitting area, fridge and tea making facilities was an added bonus. The breakfasts were amazing and varied including fabulous porridge which we had missed since leaving home. Anthea's attention to detail was second to none, home made chocolates...

We had an amazing stay with Anthea and Brian during our honeymoon in New Zealand in November. Everything was perfect and the food was exceptional, including Anthea's very careful catering to my celiac disease and glorious gluten-free recipes. The location is great - beautiful views, very relaxing, and just a short drive to Abel Tasman National Park. Anthea and Brian's...

Anthea and Brian are wonderful hosts. Their home is beautifully appointed and located with a marvelous view high up on the hill. The gardens add to the enjoyment and attract fun birds. If you catch a nice weather day, breakfast outside is a great treat. Beyond excellent is how we'd describe breakfast. It was well prepared, had great variety and...

The Bellbird Lodge defines quality in every way possible--luxurious accommodations in a peaceful setting with beautiful views, thoughtful and attentive hosts, amazing food, and trip-saving local advice. Anthea and Brian run the lodge and are the most gracious, attentive, and helpful hosts one could ever hope for. Anthea's cooking is absolutely amazing and should have a Michelin rating. The dishes...
