We emailed the bridge house email address enquiring about renting the whole property including the adjoining cottages for a long weekend to house our wedding guests. This was also enquiring about holding a family BBQ catered on the Friday evening for people who had a long journey. I had no response from either email provided so my fiancée called up...

Our large party of 14 adults and 4 children ranging from 9 months to 87 years were all comfortably accommodated at Bridge Farmhouse, Britford. All eight bedrooms had en-suite facilities and a separate bathroom was handy. The beds were all doubles but several rooms also had a full size single bed for those who usually prefer singles. Fantastic dining room...

18 of us descended on Bridge Farm for a birthday celebration at the end of Jan/early Feb. Our group consisted of 13 adults & five children, age range from 6 months to 73 yrs. We all had a wonderful time. This amazing property was extremely comfortable, well-equipped, clean, situated in beautiful grounds and with the advantage of being only a...

We stayed for a weekend in early October with my husbands family and it was great. We loved the garden and river and the location was perfect. It's a very comfortable and clean property. The bedrooms were all very spacious and the bathrooms were all spotlessly clean. The dining room was perfect for family meals, eating and drinking and chatting....

We have been lucky enough to stay at Bridge Farm twice now. Once last September for a friends weekend and this last weekend for a family event to celebrate our parents 50th wedding anniversary. It is just lovely. We arrived on Friday after a damp and long trip out of London to find the house warm and welcoming with fires...

What an absolutely fantastic place. I can not recommend it highly enough. I booked Bridge House for a company retreat and will definitely make every effort to return next year. Everything was perfect. The wonderful kitchen with the Aga, the stunning gardens with a beautiful river running thought it, x2 sitting rooms and a huge dining room. A wonderful place...

Spent a fabulous weekend here with many old friends and truly found it difficult to leave. A superb location, wonderful house full of old-world charm, elegance and sophistication yet with every mod-con readily available. Superb kitchen, beautiful sitting/dining rooms, comfortable, spacious bedrooms all topped off with an hour or two of fishing in the garden stream and a few rounds...

We had an idyllic weekend here with a group of friends. We'd whole-heartedly agree with the previous 2 reviews (both written since the house has been set up for group lets). Owners Alison and Ido have done a fantastic job reburbishing the house to be very comfortable and cosy in a country cottage style but without being twee! Thoroughly recommend...

Stayed here as part of a large group of friends who wanted to have relaxed, get away from it all, weekend. And we were not disappointed. The setting is superb and reminded us all that we have some of the best countryside here in England. We walked into Salisbury which is another special place, one of the most unspoilt cities...

The house is now for Group lets and has 8 ensuite bedrooms. Really beautiful house - warm, cosy and welcoming.
