Stayed for three nights to see Bath & area. Saturday night was very expensive. Visited Stourhead Gardens and Cley Hill. Took local bus into Bath as parking difficult. Bus stops very near Woolpack and goes direct to Bath bus station. Hotel fabric a bit shabby. Tables & surfaces in restaurant/pub not cleaned properly and were sticky to touch. However, food...

Dear Guest Thank you for your feedback regards your recent stay with us. We are glad you loved the food quality. I was concerned to read the comments describing your finds and we usually pride ourselves on our guest care. Clearly we have failed to deliver on this occasion and will address the matter with the whole team. Regards Bryan...

We had a twin room (number 8) in the eaves... shower was excellent, the beds were very comfortable and the food was nice and a good price (2 main meals £10.00) only thing that spoiled it was i banged my head at least 4 times on the low beams... if your under 5ft 6 you will be fine

Stayed one night before wedding, great room service with quality food. Pricey but typical of the area. Hotel breakfast was good and service was also friendly. Late night return to room was easy. Nice bar area and well located. Bar prices fairly high would recommend as a decent base for the area and smallish car park alongside the hotel itself....

My family and I stayed in this pub hotel for the night a couple of weeks ago, as we was going to Longleat Safari Park the next day and it was very close by. I found the pub hotel very pleasant. Good points... - friendly and attentative staff - cosy but yet atmospheric bar area - pretty good food in...

My girlfriend and I visited the Woolpack for three nights whilst visiting Bath. There was a bus stop about 50 yards away which provided a bus straight into bath which took ~35minutes and ran once every hour or so. We were made to feel very welcome when we arrived and shown to room ten (a double). Room had everything we...

With my two young-uns in need of a toilet stop on the way back from Bristol, I fired up my Cask Marque app and saw the Woolpack Inn was nearby. Stunning village of Beckington parted to reveal a lovely looking olde Pub! In we trotted, and my missus got the drinks. I had a stunning pint of Pirate by Westbury...

We also stayed in room 1. It was fine and clean. Nice shower and lovely and quiet - just woke to birds singing!. Bed was comfy and the staff were very helpful and supplied sausage sandwiches on request! Very good value and would like to return soon!

Bit of a mixed bag here. We stayed in room 1 which was a superior room in this lovely inn. The room itself was lovely and the bathroom was really impressive but i have to say the housekeeping was lacking as the floor and furniture were really dusty. Thick clumps of dust on the chairs and under the bed it...

Back here after quite a while. We stayed in room 1, one of the superior rooms generous in size and with a boutique-feel about it. As ever with Old English Inns, things are a bit frayed around the edges, however this is probably testament to the popularity of the chain and general good value. The staff are friendly and efficient...
