Positive is the location close to the skipiste. Staff is very helpfull and friendly. Diner served is excellent and breakfast is fine. Rooms are fine although oldfashioned but the bed sleeps well. Bathroom is ok. Things may be to improve is the internet access. In the bar is it ok but not very fast but in the rooms there is...

Before our 6 night stay at Hotel Seelaus, we thought we might have booked for too long a time. But when the 6 nights were up we didn't want to leave. (unfortunately we had to catch a plane home). This family run hotel (dad, mom and daughters are at the reception desk and bar and uncle is the amazing chef...

We spent a couple nights here and it was nice - beautiful views and sounds (cows with cow bells in the pasture). The owners have a large dog and cat which are well behaved, and roam the hotel. The spa is very nice - multiple saunas and a pool / bubble tub (unfortunately, not heated). They rent robes for $10...

The was a very comfortable stay for a few days of walking and exploring. The hotel was well located and run by a lovely family who were very courteous and helpful. My two sisters and I stayed here in August 2015 and it was a wonderful stay. The staff were very accommodating and very friendly. They were helpful in recommending hiking trails. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. The food was amazing. Yes, the seating time for dinner was limited to a 30 minute window and the service between courses was sometimes...

In September 2015 our tour group stayed at the Hotel Seelaus for a couple days. You can't ask for a more beautiful part of Italy. Wow. There are so many different hikes in the Seiser Alm. You can take a variety of chairlifts to the hike of your choice. The Hotel Seelaus offered cozy rooms. Don't forget to pack a...

We had recently a stay at hotel Seelaus which turned out to be a great experience. The hotel is located only few minutes walking from Compatsch. You can go hiking straight from the hotel into the great nature of Seiser Alm. The staff was very warm and hospitabel, and with halfboard we had a nice breakfast and 5-course dinner. The...

I had a great time at the Seelaus, thank's so much to the great host family! We could start the most scenic hikes directly from the hotel, just leaving the car on the parking lot. Food is excellent, if you have special wishes just ask. Highly appreciated the quitness around the place, cow bells are the exception. Highly recomended!

Keep in mind that if you make your way up to the Alpe di Siusi you should be there for serious hiking or skiing. We were there for two nights in May shortly after they had opened for the season. Our room was clean, attractive, and functional with a view out two sides. The food in the restaurant was very...
