Bravo for hotel Mezzatorre and Borgo Cacciatori. We booked 1 night in Borgo Cacciatori but due to sad family circumstances we had to visit and fly home 1 day earlier. The fully booked Borgo arranged for us to stay the night in their beautiful sister hotel Mezzatorre. Beautiful vistas, clean and comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast (and dining) room overlooking the beach and sea. Thanks for your flexibility and service. We will visit again. Recommended.
We stayed for two weeks at the end of the summer - in time for the island saint's festival characterized by flying enormous handmade paper balloons and fireworks - and our rooms and the view from the terrace restaurant were just fabulous. A few people in our party had food allergies and the hotel staff were extremely attentive to our every wish and need, even going so far as to buy completely new pots, pans, and cutlery with which to prepare certain dishes (gluten-free). I would highly recommend this venue both as a hotel or just for a moonlit dinner.
I only went there for dinner, it was very good. We had a nice fish crudites entree, and excellent grilled swordfish. At the beginning a nice Falanghina wine came with the food, but later they turned into a trivial Trebbiano, which was not on the same quelity level. The service was nice and efficient.
