My husband and I were planning a romantic getaway and booked flights to Dubrovnik for a long weekend. But then I realised I needed some peace and quiet and read about the beautiful island of Mljet. We were worried that it might be too ambitious to go there during such a short trip, but I'm so glad we did take...

The hosts were extremely accommodating, helping us with bikes, kayaks, recommending restaurants, walks and trips. The collected and dropped us off from the ferry. The hosts were friendly and happy to talk and tell us about the Island. It was great to stay with people who were passionate about arts and their local environment and wanted others to experience it...

Tamara and Zoran renovated the old school of Govedari, a small village up the hills in the heart of the Mljet National Park. They live there for a good part of the year with their two sons. They do everything they can (and more) to make you feel at home. Not only do they wait for you at the boat...

The owners couldn't have been more welcoming & helpful. Breakfast was simple & tasty (eggs, coffee, fruit, bread, jam, yogurt) - all served on the terrace. Kayaks & mountain bikes to rent for the day were a good price vs the others on offer. A little bit isolated but that gets you amazing views of the forest in a truly...

We stayed for a week in Tamara and Zoran’s place and we truly enjoyed it. We spent 4 nights in the Turquoise and 2 nights in the Fire apartment. Both of them are comfortable and decorated with taste. The owners are very friendly and they were helping us with different services during all our stay (dropping us to the shop...

The owner collected us from the ferry port on arrival and suggested we buy a few things at the supermarket. We had the Turquoise Apartment for 1 night and the Green Room for 1 night. The Turquoise apartment is large with a kitchen, air con and queen bed and the Green Room was a more simple room with no kitchen...

We stayed in Tamara and Zoran's lovely apartments during a week-long stay on the island of Mljet. It was the most beautiful place, and the apartment was the perfect place to explore the island from. The apartments are situated in a very small, hilltop hamlet and are a walk/cycle away from the lakes. Tamara and Zoran were incredibly friendly hosts,...

We stayed a few days in April-May as Zoran's guests in Govedari, Mljet. Our room was charming with pretty details and Zoran arranged for us everything we asked for. We rented mountain bikes to see the area and the chrystal clear lakes. Too bad that it was not yet warm enough for swimming. Zoran also cooked one fish dinner for...

A gorgeous apartment in the National Park on Mljet. The apartment was clean, cosy and well-equipped. It has beautiful views and a nice terrace on the level below. The hosts were helpful and kind. Tamara organised everything during the booking process and then her husband, Zoran, looked after us while we were there. He picked us up from the ferry,...

The plan was for our family of four to use Mljet as a relaxing break in the middle of our Croatia vacation. We planned o hike, bike and swim for three days and three nights before moving on to Dubrovnik. This would have been the perfect place except for the unexpected 30 year tempurature record highs (104 degrees)! We stayed...
