The Cosy Inn location was central enough, and Kuah Town Centre is basically just a walking distance away. The staffs are helpful, and suggested a few places of interest other than the usual suspect. There are a few shops around, and food, as well as other amenities are nearby. The room is clean, and you get what you pay for. And you got free wi-fi :)

The Island Hopping Jetty is just nearby. You could see more of Langkawi if you rent a car, and if you have not make prior arrangement for one, just ask the front desk staff to do it for you or head over to the T-shop on the next block.

We got a "special" deal on the double suite for 2 nights - RM110 per night.

Pro:
Free water in the hallway
Cheap local restaurants nearby
Wifi in the room

Con:
Water heater didn't work
Dirty cups, ants all over the water kettle
No information provided at the front desk about the surrounding area since only a young boy was manning the desk
Shower handle broken
Not a nice location
No minifridge, no chairs

This was the only hotel that didn't have overwhelming bad reviews, so perhaps its the best of the worst, but still would expect better for the upper "low-budget" (50USD/2nights) price.

The room is quite big for its price. Got lcd tv, refrigerator, shower heater and water heater. That's all. The decoration is simple. But it feel like I'm at home because the door and the environment is to common and I'm not satisfied with that.

Pros:
Very friendly receptionist.
Close with restaurant and other place.
Super fast internet.
Room smell nice.

Cons:
Not feel like I'm in hotel.
Air conditioner is old.
Using old door knoob, so feel not to secure.

Stayed here 1 night during Chinese New Year. RM160 per night (promo) for Suite. The room size is big with windows. I think it can accomodate 4 people.

The bathroom also big. No toiletries were supplied accept shower foam. Low water pressure to shower, but water storage is provide.

Wifi connection not so good. Not a big issue.

Easy access to mainroad. A lot of restaurant nearby.

Overall..it is a good hotel

We stay in a deluxe room for one night. It was ok overall, I like the air-cond and the room's fragrance. However I think the hotel needs to improve on the water flow (because it is too slow). The staff is not that friendly and they don't even greet us when we came. They don't provide us parking as well. Wifi is fast and the hotel is very near to Dataran Lang, jetty and shopping center.

We stayed here for 5 days 4 nights and what a pleasant and comfortable stay it was. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Car rental is available upon request and so is taxi to the ferry point. This hotel also provides Island Hopping Services and the charges are affordable. We stayed in a family room with two queen sized beds. The air conditioner was in good working condition and so was the heater. The rooms were clean and large . The only complain was the view from the room was not very pleasant as it was facing some shop lots. The Jetty point is about 10 minutes walking distance . We basically walked to dataran Lang from the hotel on the very first day. The is a 24hour Indian Muslim eatery beside so its very convenient for eating breakfast especially as it is not provided in the hotel. Wifi is not very good but the hotel is comfy and cosy as its name. The staffs are very helpful and can converse well in english so it was easy. The area is very quite at night and falling as sleep was easy. One minus point the pillows were hard but the beds were fine.

this hotel exceeded my expectation given the price! the room is big and clean. furthermore, they provided two pillow and a cushion for us. their wardrobe has got many hangers as well. toilet is clean and the ventilation is good. my bikini was dried after hanging for one day. the hotel is located beside a 24hr eating house so it's very convenient. we take our breakfast there every morning. it is walking distance to Jetty Point as well. their staff is very friendly and the guy has good command of English so there wasn't any communication problem. the wifi works well for us when we stayed there. the aircon works well and did not drip.

The first night the aircon dripped. Told the staff and we were given another room the next day. And guess what? It dripped too in the early morning.. Sigh.
Wifi was also pretty bad. Will not be staying here again.

We stayed here for a night as it was walking distance to Kuah Jetty where we had to catch a ferry the next day to Koh Lipe. Room was small, with good cool air-conditioning and ensuite bathroom. Towels, kettle, coffee, mini bar fridge were provided. Free drinking water was available from the water dispenser located in the corridor on each floor. Water pressure was good. It was cheap, but clean and comfortable. There were mini markets, launderette, food shops nearby. It took us about 15-20 mins to walk by the beach via lagenda park to the jetty.
