Great service n room. We picked suite, satisfied with the room. Ill choose the same room if i come to this hotel again. Tq en ibrahim for your great service.. eventhough we have to check out earlier due to personal emergency matters. Hes kind enough to follow up n deliver the deposit to us. Tq bella vista n en ibrahim.
Just checked out from Bella Vista. Reminder to those that booked via online, make sure you know what you have booked and the inclusion. Upon check in there will be no explanation given so it is on your own. We dint know that breakfast was already charged and included. Bedsheets, towels (were not in the room unless you request) were all stained and pool was cloudy and dirty. Staff all looked exhausted and unwelcoming.
This is an ok place to stay IF... you just want a basic room to sleep with some aesthetic surroundings outside. Not more. Due to COVID /economy they are facing shortage of staff and maintenance therefore quality of your stay decreases considerably. Here’s the pros and cons: PROS - beautiful views (not from sea view rooms; small windows mostly covered by trees) but from sea view elevators and restaurant - decent landscaping & exterior maintenance (they’ve kept the physical building freshly painted, nice lobby etc) - quiet area of Kuah. Mostly peaceful. - walkable local cuisine - a couple of smaller western restaurants - front desk staff are friendly and strive to be helpful - decent, adjustable, fabric pool loungers CONS: - building is old - sometimes rust comes out of the tap, bathroom shelves are loose and wobbly, shower randomly spurts water even when turned off - not all rooms are equal. Sea view rooms much smaller than online pics. Some beds are old and hard (like will bruise your hips if u lay on your side - rm 201). They took initiative to allow us to view several upon arrival - mattresses ranged from foamy soft (rm 247) to decent (rm 243). Note: avoid rooms close to elevator - large lobby echos sound. - Pool is unswimmable. Murky dirty water in both main pool and jacuzzi - Even in peak season, pool bar is closed and no pool towels available, nor extra towels from hotel. - Only one restaurant open for breakfast only. At first they told us we could order a western continental or Indian or Malay meal, but they randomly decided to shift to Malaysian buffet to accommodate most of their guests, so we ate white rice, sardines, peanuts and noodles every morning :( The breakfast staff were sympathetic so brought us omelettes, which was nice. - housekeeping is sloooow, and not thorough. Floors, counters and mirrors often not cleaned. Just bed made and garbage out. - poor mgmt systems. I brought my towel to the beach and brought it to the front desk before dinner to exchange for a clean one. They told me they’d send one to my room. After 30 minutes of dying to have a shower and no towel, I convinced them to check their store room - they did and discovered they had no more clean towels. They informed me that somewhere in the hotel there was a trolly with towels on it but had no way to tell where it was. There was only one person assigned to reception in the evening so couldn’t leave the desk to help me. I didn’t receive a towel until 10pm. …
Nice place satisfied recommended Although far from Cenang but have another beach nearby Surrounding are good Will back to here in the future And will try the theme park Tq to all the good staffs Happy !
i wont say it was the greatest stay but not a bad stay too. i booked duplex suite for 7 people but upon check in they said they didnt open that area yet so they gave us 3 room instead. The new rooms were nice but can be improved on cleanliness. Not that dirty but since my eyes are sharp so i noticed a dirty spot a bit. haha but all 3 rooms were okay and the location of the hotel is near to everything so dont worry about getting food or going to other places! overall it was a nice stay for me and my family. :)
