I recently stayed at this hotel. It looks ok from outside but the inside decor does not match if one I would give 4 star. It is very dated needs a lot of tlc and updating. The walls have damp and the bathrooms need to be a bit more practical. When we arrived we had six staff at reception but they did check us in promptly. The swimming pool’s definitely need doing up and need a good clean as there was a smell in the corner of the pool. Breakfast was another challenge as they cater for Malaysian people and Islamic people but not for international and is very basic. The staff hover round you and take the plates as soon as you finish which makes you feel uncomfortable. The other annoying thing is that the staff don’t talk proper English and is hard to get an answer. The hotel itself is situated in town but there is no local shops or restaurants near by so we had order taxis to pangyhai beach which was more lively and more choice of food and drink and entertainment. If staying as a couple or with a family and you are. It religious then I would Avoid this hotel at any cost.

Not impressive. On arrival had not processed my booking, was told that happens if booked last minute, I advised 2.5wks ago! Then told as solo did I really need a big room, insisted yes as that is what I had booked and paid for showing bkg confirmation. No apology, check-in taking 30 mins. Room was OK, but corners and areas dirty. Not once during my 2 wk stay did they ask if everything ok

The Good: - Rooms are big and clean - I got an interconnected room which was great! - Staff are friendly and helpful - Executive at the travel desk was very helpful - In-room dining experience was good. Food was tasty :) The Not So Good: - Breakfast does not have many choices and is more tuned for Southeast Asians - No veg option in breakfast apart from bread, butter, jam - The hotel interiors are dated - Air-conditioning in the room is sloppy Housekeeping: - First day and the basin was clogged. When asked to fix the handyman simply removed the pop-up from the basin :D Other Info: - The hotel has a water dispenser on every floor and the expectation is that the guests fill water as and when needed using the dispenser. This, IMO, is a good thing as it is eco-friendly move! So in case you are used to ordering water and getting two plastic bottles delivered to your room, you should reset your expectations when it comes to water when staying here. Overall Comments: - I definitely would recommend Adya Hotel Langkawi for your stay. Getting a Grab from this hotel was easy.

I had a lovely 4 days here. Rooms are big, dated but very comfortable for the price. Staff were super friendly and Saffi the pool/gym guy went over and beyond to help if I need it. Breakfast was pretty good as well. Loved the pool. I'd happily stay here again.

The hotel is located about 30-mins away from the airport. The lobby is spacious with a high ceiling and window, natural light was at ease. The check-in was smooth. The room was spacious with a balcony. I don't really like the design of the bathroom, somehow if you were not careful, you may easily trip. The carpet has a lot of stains and is dusty. Do request a slipper when you check in. They use a carpet that is more suitable for a function room rather than a room. Oh, and the wall is quite thin, you may hear people walking, talking and dragging their luggage outside your door. Breakfast was average, more likely to cater to the Malaysian taste. Convenient stores, a mall with duty-free shops, seafood restaurants and fast food are all within walking distance.

We along with our two children stayed at a Bayview room. It was a great experience. The most caring staff we have found during our trip. Always smiling and addressing every issue with respect and urgency. Would stay again and again. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality.

View is great from the room balconies. Pool was good. Thats the only positive things. Breakfast was ok. Rooms need a renovation and the carpet is filthy with lots of stains. Bathrooms also not clean. Towels looks dirty. Lots of red ants onthe beds and inside the rooms. Reception staffs unfriendly and not willing to help. Marketing themselves as a muslim friendly hotel yet not friendly to even muslims. 3 star hotel at best not 4 stars for sure.

Adya was one of my favourite hotel in Langkawi and been there for so many times. The staff's attitude will always change especially the receptionist whereby they never seem to follow the hotel's standard. However, during my last stay, i faced few issues with their room's cleanliness and been settled immediately by one of the female Housekeeping supervisor. The only thing which influence my decision to stay there in the future was the unexpected cancellation. When i reach the hotel, my booking was cancelled due to the availability and i understand it well but the way the receptionist handled it was terrible. She checked my reservation and informed me with wrong behavior and even don't say sorry or approach in right way. Please and please train them well in term of guest handling as that will be your hotel's first impression. Thank you and all the best!

This hotel is in town area and close to Kuah shopping area and restaurant. The staff are friendly and helpful. My daughter left her airpods and the manager (En Jamal) was helpful to check and post back to me. Kudos! High integrity!
