Returned after 6 years . The refurbishment is absolutely fantastic gone is all the dark wood. It's now bright cheery and welcoming. Chong and the front desk team very helpful and efficient very easy check in. The rooms have also got a major make over. (Stunning) A new addition to the hotel is a bar at the far end of the property called the Coconut Bar a great place to watch the sunset have a drink and some delicious food and the guys at the bar are brilliant. The Pelangi grill is a must they serve food all day from Breakfast to Evening Dinner. Shidi and his team are amazing very helpful and friendly. You should also try the Spice Market great food and atmosphere, ask for Izam he'll look after you. I would highly recommend the Yoga classes With Jamil .And the Nature walking Trail. If you are interested In fitness try out the gym the views over the beach are fantastic. To finish our stay we had a massage I would really recommend it. It was brilliant very professional. Finally we would like to thank all the staff for making our return holiday so memorable. A special thanks to Mr Hasril Amil Aswa for being so helpful. And we will definitely returning in 2024…

Hi :) I was staying here for 5 days with my spouse and I can say for sure, it was one of the best experience we ever had. Not because of best weather (it was raining mostly due to rainy season) or due to facilities (even though everything looks so beautiful and nice) but mainly because of people working there! Starting from lobby workers, people responsible for cleaning, swimming pool staff, singers, chefs or restaurant workers-they are all the best ones! Never met so friendly, polite, hardworking, professional, helpful and smiley people ever. If someone from management will read this review, would like to let you know that you are having amazing people there and please take care of them and appreciate! It’s one of the best hotel on the whole island and located on a beautiful beach. Large pool area with lots of sunbeds and plenty of fresh beach towels. At the hotel, we often ate in the Pelangi Grill right on the beach, where also breakfast is served. We stayed in a sea view room and I would recommend it to everybody as it’s located directly to the beach. The hotel impresses with beautiful gardens, a well-maintained beach, modern + clean rooms and attentive, friendly/hospitable and thoughtful staff. We can recommend the hotel at any time.

It was a great experience staying at langkawi Pelangi beach resort and spa... Its was my 1st visit to langkawi with my family to celebrate my daughter birthday. How do i start, from the day one till the day we check out was great experience and lovely hospitality and warm welcome by the staffs.. I would say the food is super yummy and satisfied.. The food is more variety and suitable for kids too. My girl love the breakfast. We enjoyed our food in both spice market and the Pelangi grill... We have booked table for the beach view celebration for my little one birthday. 100% satisfied with their service and their friendlyness. My little girl enjoy her birthday celebration by ur staffs. Not forget the chef shan who recommended the signature food, was great experience. Please ignore the bad reviews. Our trip did start bad with our check in however the duty manager Jana turned it around and upgraded us for the inconvenience. Thank you Jana for all your assistance during our stay. She was welcoming and treated us very well. We traveled as a family with our 2 year old son. We had an absolute amazing time. The resort is clean. The beachfront breakfast is Instagram worthy. The resort has just been refurbished and wow does the entrance take you back. The room service is 10/10. I would highly recommend staying here if you’re travelling with a baby. The resort has everything you need to make your stay pleasant. We were collected and dropped to anywhere we wanted by the hotel electric buggies. This was a our first time in Langkawi and we couldn’t have picked a better resort.…

We had an amazing two weeks as a family at the Pelangi Beach Resort and even though the monsoon rains were sporadic from the second week onwards, the service and friendliness far made up for this. The rooms are tidy and clean and are brought into shape every day with great dedication and the breakfast buffet is varied and ranges from Indian curry to British pudding to Thai noodles, while you can also have omelettes and soups prepared straight away. In the evening we also often went to the Spice Market Restaurant, where the breakfast buffet is also held, and found ourselves having friendly and enriching conversations with Suzy or Izwadi with pleasant regularity. We would also like to positively mention Seipon for his everyday omelette, Che Zaliha for her niceness and Redzuan for his diligence. Thanks to you and everyone in the background, from those responsible for the plants, the pool and the rooms... you all made our vacation unforgettable. Terima kasih!…

The first time I visited Pelangi resort with my family to celebrate my 6years old daughter's birthday. Warm welcome and polite hospitality starts from the front door of the hotel, when I entered the hotel the front office staff served us welcome drinks, they helped me to check in as well. I would like to thank the front office manager Mr.Hasril, Duty manager Mr. Choong and all the staff in front office & concierge.Buggy facilities to the room are always available. I had breakfast at the Spice market restaurant. Malay,wastern,indian and many more other options. Nasi lemak,idli,chicken rendang, omelette become my favorite dish really tastes good.I would like to thank Sous Chef Shan, Talking Chef Jamil they are so friendly, always there when you need them really helpful. Service staff Suzy and all the restaurant staff are very good and polite. Sorry I don't remember everyone's name. At night I celebrate my daughters birthday in Pelangi Grill restaurant. My wife and I are from Canada. Over the years we have stayed at many hotels and resorts. However, I can honestly say that we have never been treated as well as we were during our very recent stay at the Pelangi Beach Resort. From the moment we stepped onto the property to the moment we checked out we were made to feel like royalty. Seriously, the staff here could not do enough for us. We were made to feel so welcome. The resort itself is top-notch. It is clean, has great facilities and two amazing breakfast buffet options with a vast array of food selections. There is also a tour desk to help plan and organize island excursions. The entire staff here is just amazing. I wish I could list every one of them by name but obviously I cannot. However, I would like to give a special mention to Manager Hasril and to Shidi and Fazli.....you were truly amazing. This is probably the best personal experience I have had from an hotel abroad on holiday. Check in with Sabrina and Chong was absolutely seamless and right from the word go, I was made to feel very welcome. It was the start of the monsoon season and with humidity the temperature was equivalent of 40c- very warm. The room was excellent and the aircon coped with the heat. Room cleaning and bed making again went seamlessly with Afina and Azlina making sure I had enough water etc. Because I succumbed to a leg infection everyone from Hasril, Yasmin and Yatt made sure I saw the clinic and because I had mobility difficulties ensured I had buggy rides to wherever. The choice of foods was excellent and of a very high standard including room service. I could not fault the experience I had and would definitely recommend this hotel to everybody.…
