I would recommend this hotel to be avoided. Basically it needs ALOT of work doing, it very tired and run down. Everything about our stay was terrible from start to finish. This lobby was covered in sand when we arrived, it smelt of cigarettes, and looks like it needs a good clean. Hotel including rooms are dark and dingy The lift is disgusting. We had to change rooms because the air con didn't work and the window was broken. The towels all have stains on them, you can hear everything in the neighbouring rooms and the corridor. The staff walk round talking over radios, which can be heard, so there is constant noise day and night. Breakfast is simply awful, the tables and chairs are filthy the cutlery is sticky, I ended up having to take wipes with me to clean then before I used them. Very difficult to get eggs made. The pool is green and even if you wanted to use it there are no sun loungers.

This is an old hotel but it has had the bathrooms remodelled with the bath removed and a large walk in shower in its place. Breakfast is good with enough verity to please most. We have found house keeping very helpful and thorough. The hotel is on the beach with everything you need in walking distance. Lots of restaurants and bars close by and the town square only 20 meters away. Very enjoyable stay and happy to come back.

Beware of thieves, service was ok, but they just sneak into your room when ur not around and steal your belongings. The room service person stole my 13k baht which is around 30k inr, and they didn't bother to check the CCTV coz I found it out early in the morning, and it was the day I was having flight to Bangkok after 2 hours, so I even can't complain to police. Swiming pool is shut most of the time because of dirty water, washroom smells like a butcher shop, water is very dirty and Muddy . Go at your own risk. Coz u can't trust them.

Apart from the location, everything else was abysmal. poor customer service, staff don't speak very good English, staff are not very friendly with non-Malaysians, very expensive breakfast that's not very good, can't use the pool during evening time (but customers are not informed about this and no signs about pool opening time either), no hairdryer in the room, poor internet connection, blocked toilet and the list goes on. I would not recommend this place to anyone, Malaysians or non-Malaysians. They charge extra for everything, not considerate at all. This place is an absolute disgrace to Malaysian Hospitality. If it was possible to give no stars I would have.

Far from best star...When I saw it from the beach front it looked liked it was abandoned for some time.... it needs a lot of TLC, it looks like it is not maintained at all, very old. There was no hot water for shower, water from the tap was brownish, towels and bed linen had yellow stains all over. Not that it was't washed, but it is so old and used that it can not look clean anymore. View from delux room was on a tin roof top over the dining area. You can hear everything due to poor or no sound isolation. As it is right now, it does not deserve even a star, let alone 3 stars. The hotel has pretty good rating at Booking (honestly, I don' understand how), so we were really dissapointed. Maybe it was our bad luck. I can overlook a lot of things, but please, at least get some new disant bed linen and new towels. Those are the minimum basics. And do something about the water, so it wont' be colored. Personnel was nice, they do what they can, so all the best to them. My advise, go somewhere else. Theres more better choices also right on the beach.

Saw a lot of bad ratings, was quite worried initially. However, the room turned out to be clean and simple, we were able to check in early. Not sure why people are complaining about the MYR100 deposit, it is pretty standard for hotels. There was complimentary breakfast, food was on the spicier end. Aircon, hot water work well. Location is impeccable.

This Hotel is POOR. The room is worse than a basic Ibis hotel. The staff have no customer service. Its better to stay in a hostel compare to this hotel. You would be happier to spend a night in a prison cell compared to this hotel. This pictures do not tell the true story of how bad this hotel is.

Now I've just had a wonderful week staying here. All the staff were excellent however I've only given one star due to the dodgy night-time security guard. I was leaving at 6.30am Monday 27th Feb, to catch an early flight. Too early for reception hours. However reception had informed me to collect my deposit from night time security. Which I did. Then I was having trouble getting a Grab car to the airport. This security guard approached and told me he could get a cab for 50 Ringgit. Wow, Grab is about 12 Ringgit and taxi rank 25 Ringgit. Having been to Langkawi over 20 times this upset me. A thieving security guard at the end of my lovely week. I accepted his offer as I was desperate. But I happened to walk outside and saw a cab in the distance. I flagged him towards me. All the time the security guard was saying NO, NO, NO, car coming.. The nearby cab was only 20 Ringgit because it was hailed and not at the rank. So I happily jumped in that car. Now this dodgy security guard is trying to make 25 Ringgit out of customers at early hours of the morning. Unbeknown by the hotel. Hence a less than favorable review.

Very dirty. We had to change rooms on check in as we were put in what can only be described as a hovel. Drilling on the other side of the wall. The second room wasn’t much better. No towels. One pillow. Dear cockroach in the hallway. A door separates us from a noisy family next door. It had no lock on our side. Techno music playing on the beach with fire throwers for HOURS until 1am. Drunk people stumbling round the corridor and nobody on reception to speak with. Curtains wouldn’t open. Air con was so dusty we were coughing. 2 plugs on opposite side of the room to the bed. The window wouldn’t close and someone had attempted to screw it shut (probably because of the never ending awful music outside. Dirty cups. We didn’t even bother with breakfast, the smells of burned food stank and the dirty plates in the hallway made us feel sick. Checked out early. If you want a nice trip I wouldn’t recommend this place. I’ve stayed in many hotels in Malaysia and this is by far the worst.

Hotel is perfectly situated in busy tourist hub and on the beach. Close to many restaurants and holiday shopping shops. Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel needs an upgrade. Dark and dusty. The aircons in the rooms did not wok adequately. Rooms were not cleaned thoroughly. Breakfast was limited. The trainer chef made a decent omelette.
