I’ve passed by this hotel several times before on my visits to the island and never gave much thought of the place to be honest as the front of the hotel was rather boring and seem likes it was run down.

But i was very delighted to have stumbled upon this hotel in Booking.com, as you can see by the picture the hotel is really cozy and clean. I really enjoyed my time in the pool area as it was so relaxing and comfy to chill during the hot days on the island.

The breakfast was good but would prefer buffet but i guess with the current situation the hotel has to reduce on certain cost but it was acceptable other than that it would be nice if there is a water dispenser that is easily accessible for guest to top up on their water as 2 bottles of water just ain’t enough.

I hope the management can look into my comments and looking forward to be back here again soon.

Have just come to the end of my 5th stay here, have spent a week just relaxing, and as usual the whole team were excellent, everyone of the team is friendly and helpful, special mention to Khairul who noticed I had a bit of a cold one afternoon turned up at my room with a hot lemon drink.

The lunch menu has been reinstated so if you need a light snack while relaxing by the pool, there is an affordable choice available, although I found the breakfast options more than enough to keep me going.

Only a short walk to the beach and around 10 minute walk to the main strip the hotel is close enough to access everything but far enough away so as not to be bothered by the noise of the main strip.

I plan to be back in the new year, so until then thank you to everyone at the Telaga Terrace, I hope to see you next time.

Tim

My 6th stay at Telaga Terrace and as usual excellent customer service, it’s the small details that really make a difference like spotting if you don’t like certain toppings on your breakfast, once noted they remover for the rest of your stay.

As a solo traveller I feel comfortable here, and the location and amenities are great. The rooms are a good size and the team keep everything clean and tidy even sweeping fallen leaves and flowers throughout the day.

Telaga Terrace is the only place I’d stay in langkawi.

Thank you to the whole team at Telaga Terrace, I look forward to seeing you again soon.

We stay here for 4 days the room was nice and cosy I like the foyer at the front of ever room which is a nice place to hangout, location wise, it’s a bit far from the beach so getting a grab would be your option, otherwise will be 20 mins walk. breakfast was nice but portions is a too little, the baked bean seem to be like a scoop spoon Pool has a nice chilling atmosphere. The room is big, able to fit one pax in the bathroom however amenities wise, was not consistent. 1st day we don’t receive face towel, 2nd day was perfectly complete, 3rd day, face towel and floor mat was missed.

This place felt more like a motel... the patios along the dark corridor don't really feel inviting and half of the few sun chairs around the pool were broken. The bathrooms try to have a Bali vibe but the plants are dying and mosquitos get in despite the dirty net covering the open ceiling. Only bath towels were provided, no separate towels for hands or face. Linens were hopefully washed but still stained. Otherwise the room was clean. Sound proofing is very poor.

For breakfast you can choose a malaysian set or two versions of english breakfast. Not horrible, but not to our taste (did not taste the malaysian though, which was maybe a mistake). Coffee and juice were terrible but that's not uncommon. No other restaurant or bar services are provided.

At least the staff was nice and helpful. Overall we weren't enjoying the location or Cenang and ended up leaving a day early.

We stayed in a ground floor room set around a swimming pool and breakfast area. We had a small outdoor patio to sit out on. Great air con. Lovely shower. Some of the breakfast food was cold (which they seem not to bother about). A great supermarket across the road and handy to laundry services.

Nothing like the pictures advertising the place.
The rooms have a sort of “inside window” and it’s got weird indoor balconies so it’s pretty much all pretence.
The pool is tiny and there’s a maximum 6 people policy.
The rooms are dingy, dark and grotty.
Honestly the only thing that stops me giving a zero rating is that the staff are so lovely.
They’re all delightful.
But the hotel itself isn’t even a hotel or resort. It’s a motel. And a grotty one at that.

The staff at reception were very helpful. Due to a change in circumstances we were only able to stay 1 night of the 3 we had booked and we couldn’t cancel. However, they allowed us to change our booking so that we could split it and use the other nights at a different time. I don’t know many hotels that would do this. We had an early ferry in the morning and breakfast wasn’t technically open but they still cooked us a wonderful breakfast.

Location slightly secluded from the center (about 8 minutes walk from the central square and only 5 from the beach entrance) with a supermarket in front. The hotel offers spacious, clean and well organized rooms with A/C; TV, vanity kit, water hairdryer and fridge. Each room has a small private outdoor patio equipped with a sofa and fan. Friendly and friendly staff, very helpful. Only point perhaps to review the breakfast; a little 'limited with two choices: English breakfast or Malaysian breakfast. But I want to break a spear in favor of breakfast: available buffet oats and cereal with milk!!!!!

We booked for two nights and are planning on leaving after our first night. When we arrived there was someone else’s hair in the shower. The worst thing though is that rooms are completely lacking in soundproofing, even with earplugs I could hear everything going on in the hotel. People running, shouting, talking etc. Then we were woken by a guest a few doors down who was vomiting, I feel bad for the guy, but the hotel should be soundproofed enough that other guests can’t hear when someone is unwell. Just a really unpleasant experience to come to a beautiful island and have so little sleep you’re unable to enjoy it. The staff have been unwilling to move rooms. Overall terrible experience and do not recommend
