I was on my way to the trolltunga hike, so i thought maybe i should crash close to it.. Which is a very good idea since its only 20 min by car.. Regarding the hotel.. Very tidy, clean with lots of young hikers like me, what gives the space a very nice environment. This was the plus. The minus is... More

There we were, three adventurers who'd just climbed a glacier needing rest for the day ahead climbing tolltunga. Upon entering the hotel, the receptionist told the three of us that to have a duvet would cost the equivalent of £10. Not expecting this we opted to sleep without. When we asked about vegetarian options for breakfast, the receptionist told up... More

I spent one night in this hotel before hiking to Trolltunga. It's far from Odda and the bus station (I walked for about 40 minutes, there were no signs on the way mentioning Trolltunga hotel, I used Google maps for directions). The sign with hotel's name is on the side facing the lake, as I went from Odda towards the... More

The accommodations are ok, it's a budget hotel so it did the trick. The restaurant is good. Staff is friendly and very helpful, I'd stay again. I was there to hike trolltunga so I got some good advice and tips.

We were in the new building, the room had a bookcase, 2 chairs, 2 beds and a lamp that has a table shelf on the lamp stand. No drinks, tea, coffee facilities or bed side table so charge your phone on the floor. Breakfast was hard cold continental so no bacon, sausages only boiled eggs and if you want toast... More

We booked two nights here due to the free parking, wifi and breakfast reports online. We found the room to be falling apart and should have not been rented. We looked into changing hotels but all others were booked. This hotel must be without competition to stay in business.

We stayed here in August 2016. It's so nice to arrive at a hotel after a very long day travelling from the UK and you've been up since 3am to be informed that you've been given a "single" room for two people. When I queried this I was told "the bed is 120cm wide". And then I was charged well... More

We stayed here for one nicht because we wanted to see the trolltunga. The rooms are rather small (but clean) and also pretty expensive compared to other hotels in Norway. We noticed that almost everyting in Odda is pretty expensive (probably because of the tourism). The breakfast was good! One big advantage is that the shuttle to the trolltunga leaves... More

I was hesitant to book after reading some negative reviews online, however I was very happy with my stay at Trolltunga hotel. I was looking for a hotel to stay in before hiking. It was close to trolltunga, breakfast started at 6 am which was perfect for the hike and the lady at the front desk was nice to accommodate... More

We had a room in the new part of the building which was called superior. They obviously just finished this annexe, and the room was just ok. It still smelled from the fresh wall painting, missed any kind of storage room and the door only closed with extra force. The restaurant of the hotel does cook well, but they did... More
