Possibly the best Sunday roast we have ever had! Meat was so tender it fell apart, lovely thick slices. Proper Yorkshire, fresh vegetables, good potatoes and luscious gravy, all for £12 each. The place rambles on all over several rooms, a good idea because it...More

Generous portions, I had Cod and chips with mushy peas and it was great. Proper chips with a very big portion of fish cooked to perfection, highly recommend as a stop off for lunch. Very nice atmosphere in this oldly worldly pub, nice beer too.
