Visited yet again for rest and relaxation from busy family and work lives. Well placed for sightseeing, thoughtful provisions, and a relaxing atmosphere - we are never disappointed! Weather wasn't really cold enough to use the wood burner but we considered 'when in Rome' and enjoyed it's benefits later on in the evenings. (Book it !- only point is you...

There's music playing when you arrive in this lovely cosy, clean, stylish cottage and it just gets better. The bed is comfortable, the towells are fluffy, the goody basket contains delicious treats and the books of local interest kept us occupied in the evenings by the wood burning stove (logs provided.) Even our bikes had their own secure shed. There...

We were pleased with the pre-arrival information and this feeling was reinforced when we arrived... Welcoming mini "hamper" and homely touches like "emergency chocolate", DVDs, CDs, radio, wine, beer, flowers, relevant reference books, board games and knitting basket (in no particular order of preference!) were great discoveries... A delightful conversion - perfect size for us - bedroom to the left...

My husband and I spent a lovely week at Cold Harbour Shed. It has all the luxuries of a 5 star hotel coupled with all the comforts of home. We could not fault the accommodation. Just returned from a lovely relaxing week at Cold Harbour Shed Cottage. The cottage is lovely and the owners have put a lot of thought into the everything. From the basket full of goodies and wine on arrival, lovely thick fluffy towels, and even 2 bikes to explore the area. Surrounded by rolling countryside, log fires, stately homes, fantastic walks...

A wonderful place to stay where we really appreciated the attention to detail that the owners had made. The information provided, the bicycles and all the OS maps and literature were great. A place we are happy to recommend - we have already passed the details on to people we know.

When entering the cottage we had a musical welcome with classical music. A basket with goodies and a personal note from the owners gave us that instant warm welcome - feeling :-) This is a truly beautiful cottage, a historic shed building, with all modern things to make life easy. A well equipped kitchen, only downside we could think of...
